Mmmm think some of us might be getting carried away a wee bit. I watched the highlights and was looking forward to seeing this wonderful save from our new goalie..... still looking for it. Yes the lad made some saves, all of which were bread and butter stops that I would have expected anyone who was dressed up as a goalie to make. I have no doubt he has brought some stability to the defence but please don’t turn him into the messiah...... yet

Highlights show how poor both teams are, very messy. 3rd goal a goal of the season contender, really? It’s a good goal from a good move but not goal of the season stuff. Again, don’t be getting carried away. Let’s build on a good 3 points.

Maybe not the messiah but it's no coincidence that our best performances have come since he joined. If we had got him in earlier we might not be bottom by now.

The good thing is, being bottom at the end of September doesn’t mean anything. Let’s see how the lads go after this confidence boost, 4 points from 6 but a tough game away to Annan next. Come on the Wee Rovers!!!!!

If you were I'm sure you would've noticed the way the new keeper commands his box and takes the pressure off the defence. His distribution is brilliant and a great addition to the squad, well done again lads. Let's get a result against Annan now.

The GK has been great since joining the club, he is still a young lad so cut him a bit of slack!! The saves he made in the Clyde game kept the score line to a respectable number 👍🏻 and yesterday he had three great saves when we were on the back foot. I will say this, GK will get us no more points than he will lose us

No I wasn’t there, and I’m not getting at the keeper, in fact I think I mentioned that it looks as if he has brought stability to the defence. My point was that folks were rattling on about some tremendous save he made, one of whom might have been the young lad interviewing the manager. In the highlights of the game there isn’t any great save, there are saves granted but as I mentioned nothing that I wouldn’t expect any keeper to make.
according to some in this first league win we’ve scored a contender for goal of the season and we have superman in goals,
Can we not just enjoy the glow of winning a game at last without going overboard about it

A save is a save sam he made a brilliant save at a vital point of the game and we went on to win. So why bring pointless comments up about 'what brilliant save? Through the highlights, get to the game and u will see what he brings to the game. Ryan waters well done on your first 2 senior goals

A solid result and, more importantly, our first win of the season. From all accounts a convincing one, too! Baby steps at this stage – we are not out of the woods yet, but winning at a canter should give the squad a wee boost ahead of our trip to Annan and the visit of Formartine in the coming weeks. Both games are crucial. Nothing less than a point at Galabank and a convincing defeat of Formartine are the only acceptable results. I would expect the BoD to make moves – or otherwise – on the back of the cup tie. Credit due, though, to the players for giving us all something to smile about. Keep it up!
