Barry Russell was a great servant for Rovers, 100% every game, so good luck to him in the Scottish Cup against that team with the impressively long but incomprehensible name.
Assuming EK get through, Barry against Celtic is an interesting prospect.
Really impressed that EK plan to play at home, hope the Police don't interfere.

Aye, hope they get through, Whit a banana skin for Celtic that could be. A real awkward one.

My favourite player of the time despite his occasional over eagerness. Good luck to him!

Superb result for EK last night. Amazing achievement for such a small club to reach this stage of the competition and what a prize for Barry and his mates - Celtic at New Douglas Park.
Well done Barry and hope you lot stuff the arrogant Celts!!

Superb from ex Rovers boys there Mat McGinel, Martin McBride and of course Baz.
The fact that Barry wasn't in a championship winning team last year with Rovers is thanks to Wardy- Baz and Reidy were the two players who infamously had deals withdrawn after a 4-0 defeat to Clyde.

Been watching it on BBC1 Scotland down here in Morpeth. Terrific performance from Matt McGinley and some great clearances from Barry - both interviewed at the end! Brave performance all round from EK. Feel proud to see such good play from 2 ex Rovers.

It's not being wise after the event but it was a travesty that Barry especially was allowed to leave but I also saw a lot of potential in McGinley and he should also have been kept.
Regardless of the score today both these guys would waltz into the current Rovers X1.
