Yes - agree that just wasn't good enough yesterday.
Their first was a very dubious penalty and we scored a very good free-kick equaliser however that was as good as it got.
Their other 2 goals were the result of amateur defending with simple balls into the box easily slotted away.
Change at the top may be necessary.

Deliberately or otherwise the Annan Highlights don't properly show the penalty incident. Good view of our goal which was the singular highlight of the game.

Seen three games so far this season, so I have not suffered the same trauma as everyone else. Am I alone is seeing signs of improvemnet?
First half pretty even. They did have a goal disallowed, shot came back from bar/post and forward headed into net, probably should have stood. They were awarded a penalty, that no Annan player claimed for. No one in the ground knew what it was for. Could be wrong, an Annan player stood in front of another player at the near post, Rovers defender behind, Annan player at front went down, penalty. Annan were quite cute with their gamesmanship throughout, might have been one of their ploys. Wharton, certianly, enraged by decision. Fisher playing well, slipped on damned palstic pitch, did not think he played quite so well after that. Annan had some chances but they blootered them over the bar with gusto. Rovers had a reasonable share of the ball, thought 7 and 9 combined well down the right, there was also some good play down the left. I was struggling down the strange stair case down the far stand, dangerous, did not see who almost chipped the Annan keeper, came back off bar, I think. 1-0 HT.
Second half they scored an early second, felt Rovers were still in it at that point. Rovers scored with a long range free kick, bad angle to see, might have been a keeper error. Felt Rovers started to chase the game at this point, but not with a lot of guile, started leaving gaps in midfield that Annan started to exploit, charging at the Rovers defence almost at will. They wasted a lot of chances with blooters over the bar. Don't really remember Rovers goalie being brought into action too often, but he was not at fault for any of the goals. 3rd goal scored against exposed defence.
Rovers hard done by on penalty, vital point in the game, players work hard, generally, further signs of improvemnet, imo.

Little improvement. If Annan could finish better we would have lost by a barrel load. Would say penalty was soft but a penalty. Defender shoved player in back. Brogan has to go.

There have been signs of improvement, however losing 3-1 instead of 4-0 doesn’t make a blind bit of difference , you get the same zero points for it.
Nobody is wanting JB out because they dislike him, I think, but because the experiment has failed. It would have been great if we could have slashed the budget signed lower tier junior players and competed well whilst putting the club on an even keel but unfortunately it doesn’t work like that , if it did then everyone would be doing it.
I noticed that the reserves are playing tonight at St Ambrose, does this mean that the first team aren’t training ? Have they got the week off as no game next weekend , surely not!!
