Spare you the details but its the defences fault this week. Who signed them Mr Brogan? Wh'os the manager Mr Brogan? The buck stops at you. Take some responsibility and go. Even worse is the fanblog which decides its not the right time to change the manager and we should wait til after the second quarter! Really! We'll be dead and buried to the lowland league if we wait til then. Go now!

Fellow strugglers Stirling and Berwick haven`t bought into that idea and are trying to do something about their plight.....

It's me that does the "fanblog" - been doing it for many years now and that's the first time anyone has ever reacted on this board to anything I've written! I count that as a small success.

BTW - just read back what I wrote and I didn't say anything about waiting till the 2nd quarter! Here's what I wrote:
"Realistically it must be our aim to finish above at least one of those teams but to do that I believe we will need to secure points somehow against the better sides. Right now I don’t see much prospect of that happening and so something really needs to change if we are to save our club. Many are calling for a change of manager – but I’m not sure anyone else could get much more out of this squad of players"

I was thinking it was Nanooks Blog. Not many can make a 3-1 humping sound like a success story.

Sorry misread it. Nothing personal but you are actually saying that we shouldn't change the manager at all rather than waiting longer. Happy clapper tosh. He has to go.

I think the point being made is could even someone like Jurgen Klopp or Jose Mourinho get anything more out of the current squad

But then who signed them. Let someone else try before it's too late. He is a joke. The biggest mess since the McCormack and Lumsden eras. (Still tryimg to figure out last season!) I'm away to lie down til the Formantine game. If he's still in charge you'll probably here me ranting in England!

I highly doubt that we will finish anywhere but bottom of the league if things stay as they are. I must disagree with the fan blog, though. A new manager, with experience of managing in the SPFL, could utilise contacts and draft in a few experienced pros to shore things up at the back and, potentially, bring in a striker with a few goals in them.
To say that there’s no point in disposing of Brogan is tantamount to signing the death warrant of the club. When did failure become acceptable? The results speak for themselves.
This situation can be salvaged, and our SPFL status saved, if the BoD acts now and replaces Brogan before it’s too late.

A new manager is a must, and while there might not be funds for new players he might still be able to use the available loan signings we have, although I think JB might have wrecked that as well by his treatment of loan players. My fear is that the board are waiting to see how he does against Formartine before making a decision , lose and he goes, win and he stays for another month. Time for board to stand up and be counted as this could possibly be our last ever tie in the Scottish Cup which is a perilous thought. If the change is made it could give new guy chance to get off to a flier and earn the money required to get us the players we need to stay up.
When I say time for the board to stand up then that means them all, because all I seem to see on here is Ronnie getting the grief, there are plenty others on the board.

Anyone who is saying a new manager cannot kick start and galvanise an existing squad of players and add to/improve a squad with minimum outlay, is ignoring the thousands of examples where this has in fact happened.
Anyone saying change is pointless will be culpable in the eventual demise of ARFC.
You are being part of the problem. Not the solution.
Personally I am finished on the topic. My personal belief is that the majority of Rovers fans want to stick with JB regardless of where he is taking us.
I disagree with them but I respect them. They are there week in week out I am not but sometimes a detached perspective offers a clearer picture.
By the time the penny drops we will be beyond rescue.

The majority of fans want brogan out. Surely the message board gives a fair picture of the feeling. Some are burying their heads in the sand. So are the board. Brogan was a risk and after the gamble on Kerr last season shouldn't have been risked. He has to go now.

The poll we had running on here a few weeks back will tell you all you need to know. major majority wanted the manager gone, doubt things have changed much since then, probably strengthened that belief. Cant see a major swing in favour of retaining JB on the back of a point against Cowdenbeath and 3 against Stirling.
