Did we not rely on a loanee keeper last year also? I'm sure Daniel potts will do a job for the team tomorrow.

Yes, and we were relegated and we are going to repeat it.

My nerves are shot now.Can we please get the Prof on to make a wildly inaccurate forecast of a 5-0 Rovers win ? Thanks.

Having checked their squad, 12 of 16 players 25 years or older, I think this might be a bit of a bruising encounter and will come down to how our players cope with the physical challenge more than the fitba.
If they do, a 2-1 victory for the Rovers will do for me.
What's the betting on neither team finishing will 11 men?

I'd settle for a 1-0 Buckie Thistle type win. Although this time without me as ball boy.

Aye...when Jim mcCabe `bellied` the ball home in the last five mins.

It's absolutely imperative that we win on Saturday both from a morale boosting and financial point of view - a decent cup run this season would be a godsend at this moment in time.
We can win, but it won't be easy. All the players need to be up for it and not have the mentality that they can just turn up and win simply because they are 'only highland league'.
Losing is just not an option. And if we did? I would've previously said that it would surely be the final nail in Brogans coffin, but after reading Jordie's meeting summary it sounds as though a loss would not make a blind bit of difference to the Boards opinions.
ARFC 3-2 Formartine

Aldo surly hoping for a replay must be close enough to you to be classed as a home game

No real Idea how the game will go.
But my real prediction is the good folk of Formartine that will brave the journey will return to whence they came and swear on all they hold dear that they have never entered anything like the Rovers toilet facilities.
Little do they know though...if one thing has improved this year it's the cleanliness of the bogs!

Agree, this is a very important game for Rovers tomorrow for all sorts of reasons.
Win tomorrow and we're only 1 step away from the big boys round - obviously incredibly important financially as we know from recent seasons.
Reckon the players & manager will be well aware of the situation therefore has to be a 2-0 victory to the MIGHTY Rovers!

This one could go either way. The standard up there outwith top sides is on a par with juniors so should be a tight game !!!

When I checked last time-they had scored 33 goals at their level-so they are no fools. Hopefully we will prevail

Although I’m sure they put Barry Ferguson’s Clyde out cup 2 years ago. Gracie scored a barrowload of goals at his level, and hasn’t converted them in League 2, although he did score one of our greatest goals b Berwick. They’ll be coming up against seasoned senior League players today, not some junior level players.....oh wait!!!!
