Could easily be 5-0 already if it wasn't for the keeper making some great saves

We've scored begorrah! 2-1 now...see my post under "new Signings". We appear to have a Spanish player and our Hernando has assisted Barry Eley with a cross but for .... sake, don't mention work permits or unregistered players!

I don't care what the league table says. To me that is a victory to Rovers.

Ah well, we've lost 2-1 but looks like it wasn't the massacre we all expected, with 11 shots to their 16, 8 on target to their 9, big improvement in the 2nd half...and I'm wondering if our Hernando's got something to do with that? I mean, we're looking at something, anything to sound hopeful. Maybe this is a start?

FT PH 2-1 AR Shock horror it was windy in Peterhead, they had the wind in the first half and they really should quite easily have been 5-0 up within the first 20 mins. The first goal went in as I walked in so didn't quite see it all but the second was worse than something that you would see on a Sunday afternoon on the playing fields. In the end that has been the difference between 1 Point and 0 points.
Second half we were much more in it (wind assisted obviously) though PH should've extended their lead after 1-on-1s with McAllister. We scored from a corner. Was it direct? Someone will be along to tell me otherwise. We sort of threatened but just didn't have a killer pass/touch/shot. First game of the season for me so can't judge the performance compared to previous games. I suppose it was OK given conditions & opposition but was obvious we were devoid of a bit of quality. This game won't define our season but by god we need to start picking up points!
Overall: Not that bad a result Depressing town Horrendous accent

No I'm in work Alasdair but they way I look at it we won 45 minutes of a football match.
I said it last week and I will say it again. A good manager can get something out of this group of players. I honestly believe that.

Agreed; hopefully have new man in this week- just in time to crush Edinburgh city.

Wasn't at the game either however reckon credit must be given to the guys for not completely buckling after losing 2 goals in the first 15 minutes.
Sounds like our keeper played another blinder.
Peterhead are a very good free scoring team, especially at home, and are serious title contenders therefore this has to be looked upon as a decent performance from our guys.
Edinburgh City lost today so maybe next week's a good time to play them!!

After todays results the Berwick Rangers game on November 17 looks like the potential 6 pointer that is always mentioned in despatches. This should be covered by SKY or BT as there is so much at stake in this fixture and deserves a big audience !! If not then we need a big away support to have the Alamo/Zulu and Battle of the little big horn all rolled into one 90 minutes !
