Remember all the nonsense before the last AGM? Recently I kept reading on here and hearing of 'moves a foot' / new board waiting in the wings and I just dismissed this as more nonsense.
BUT now I hear that David Caldwell (no kidding) is leading a group / a consortium no less and has confirmed this to many folk. Still NO names given or NO financial investments offered though 😱 Now should we fear the worst? Who are these people? Whose interests do they have at heart? Groundhog Day ?

I’ll give you the names of the consortium Blondie.
David New Rover Bingo Prorege
Or you can call them all Dave for short.
Board meetings will be held in a phone box to save the club money.

I know you’re a real person & not DC Grant. However the reason the board meetings are in a phonebox and not a broom cupboard is so you can dial in from down south 👍

Will this be a 'consortium of 'Rovers-minded' people'? Ha ha; yawn.

Let's just hope there are no 'Airdrie-minded' people anywhere near the ground. Oh dear.

Wouldn't be top of the Cliftonhill popularity contest if an 'Airdrie' involvement proves to be true. Ha ha!!

'Airdrie minded'. No thanks. Go back to Broomfield. Oh wait, it's gone; and Airdrie went bust.

All this bile about former Airdrie folks who may or may not become involved with ARFC is hypocrisy...given that a fornmer Airdrie legend, the late Sam Goodwin was an integral part of the BOD which brought us a championship in the late 1980s. I cannot recall any outcry then. Since then we have have/had directors whose first affection has been for both sides of the Old Firm, again, no one seems to consider that an issue.

Airdrieonians do not exist; they went bust. The team which squats in that ground is Clydebank. A factual record of 'Airdrie minded' governance of the old Broomfield.
