Brilliant team performance today-inspired substitution putting Newell on and forcing Edinburgh to take a higher line in defence. As for Smart-what a guy, what a player!.Great day to be a Rover's fan-no thanks to the ref-who was shocking to put it mildly.

SCENES!!!!
I wasn't there but I'm guessing so!
PS. They won today because I wasn't there so I am staying well clear of Berwick!!

Absolutely correct Stephen71- thought Newell did brilliant when he came on , won everything in the air. Superb finish from Smart for the winner. Can't believe it what a battling performance. A massive step to staying up , another battling performance will do me.

Agree with all comments especially about the referee. If my maths are correct we only need a draw against Berwick to be safe.
When all is done and dusted I hope Kevin is given another contract as I'd love to see what he can do without the spectre of relegation hanging over him.
Well done to every one today. A real gutsy performance.

Great performance - dare I say we beat Edinburgh at their own game today, and it feels good!

Great fightback from being behind twice and we showed the determination and spirit required against a big tough opponent. The ref is up there with the worst that we seem to get - at the Carlisle game I was at yesterday the ref was brilliant allowing play to flow when there was crunching tackles and challenges in the air - up here we have petty decisions from officialdom that seem happy to chirp merrily on their whistle and flash yellow cards when anybody collapses. He could have ruined our day - but our courage and tenacity saw us through. We need to finish this off next week by gaining at least the point to save us. what a transformation in the last 7 weeks - all the hard work applied by everyone is paying off - well done to all !

A fantastic result today, whole team gave a 101%, agree with comments about Newell he made a nuisance of himself to their defence when he came on. Would have been happy with a point prematcgh but after that it would have felt like a mugging had they snatched a point at the end. Have to mention another stoater of a referee today, the guy had a mare, last seen getting his bus back to Pilton. Anyway booking tickets for Berwick and might treat myself to another one of those lucky apple juices. Roll on Saturday!

Magnificent and tremendous fight in the team allowed us to beat 14 men, and not for the first time. I've said it before and will repeat it. This is why referees get abuse and some deserve all they get. Could be party time in engurland next week! Hope the weather is a repeat of today as well.

Yes, check Rovers' twitter. Oh and worth noting the almost total lack of away support from our big-time opponents. Astonishing.

A superb battling performance which moves us from having a chance of survival to odds stacked heavily in our favour. An important plus for me is that KH's handling of the Hardie affair has been vindicated. If we can hang on to a decent number of the current side we may not have to go through the same agony again next year.
