The Cliftonhill100 group is organising a Festival of 5 a-side Football and Family Fun Day on Sunday 15 September at the stadium from 10 to 3.It's part of a series events over the year to mark the centenary of Cliftonhill stadium. To date 11 of the local primaries schools have confirmed they will send teams consisting of P5 to P7 pupils. In addition to the series of round robin 5 a side games there will be a range of activities for families including sumo inflatables, target football, beat the goalie, tuck shop etc. Entry is free. As well as the football there will be lots to interest and entertainment for families: bouncy castle, face painting, target football, beat the goalie, sumo inflatables, café/tuck shop etc.

All welcome along to today's community event. Maybe see some Rovers' stars of the future playing for one of our local primary schools today on the Cliftonhill pitch.
the 7 a-side matches start at 11. Free entry plus lots of other activities and a café/tuck shop.

Well done to the 10 primary schools who took part in this very successful day which was part of the stadium's centenary celebrations. It was also great to see a large number of family and friends along to support them. Thanks to the Cliftonhill100 group and the others who put so much effort into making the day a great community event.
