On Saturday 19th October (unless the BBC want to show this 2nd round of the William Hill Scottish Cup game) Rovers will face Fort William at home

So, a home tie against one of the "worst" teams in Britain. What could possibly go wrong 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Watched a BBC documentary recently on the fortunes of Fort William and their ambitions in trying to win a game. They were getting scores of 11-0 and 10-1 against them. They have improved since then so may fancy their chances against us ! In all seriousness if we approach this professionally we should get through the 90 minutes - it will be intriguing given their recent publicity whether or not BBC Scotland take more than a passing interest in this tie.

I agree Prof, Fort William will fancy their chances.

Worryingly even our resident cynic Chuckles thinks Rovers will win!

One thing to note about this draw is that a replay for ourselves or for Cove Rangers means our trip there the following Saturday will be moved to a midweek game.

Their squad is now mainly made up from ICT youth players, they currently have 9 on loan.
We played them a few years ago in the oban saints tournement but was only a 20 min match.
Potential banana skin

Happy it’s at home . A tricky game which would be 100% potential banana skin if it was at Fort William. I know there are a few crazies on here who would prefer it away. The harsh reality is lads the club badly needs a good cup run this year to boost the coffers after the disastrous 2nd round exit to Formantine last year.

I've now got a wee soft spot for The Fort as they are nicknamed. After seeing the documentary on BBC 1 recently. Hope to make the game as we will be coming back from Arbroath that day. Rovers should win this but.... It's the Rovers after all and as a few have said before what could possibly go wrong...

Always watch the fort bill results in the hope they get a win. The ultimate banana skin! Hope it is not one on this day!

Granted they've started getting the odd win, however we are the league team, we are at home. A win is a must. Anything else is unacceptable.
