and with the budget we have should be mid table. Please provide the budgets of all ten teams to back this up. I'm basing my opinion on our crowds and what I hear and see in terms of backers. I will happily stand corrected in my opinion of expectations, so be grateful for the figures you have. Cheers.

I don't know the figures as they are a matter of club confidentiality. However you have to look at the post loan squad changes last season to give an idea. I believe we have a decent squad with the odd bad signing. The manager is getting nothing out of them for whatever reason and we are on a downward spiral. The performances are dreadful with no sign of the turnaround. If some are happy with our current league position then that's your choice. I expect better.

I dont demand that we have a right to be above anybody at all, given what happened last year.I dont see a team either that strings 2 passes together as it stands,as no type of football is being played by us it would seem. The talent is there within the squad, but not being optimised. Its all about opinions-just my take on the situation.

That's a different argument Jimbo. We all want them winning and I wouldnt argue some recent performances have been dreadful and we all know the players can play better as we have seen it. They are however human and being semi pro they are likely to have poor games. Your argument was with our budget we should be mid table only to follow it up with you don't know the figures. Fingers crossed they end this 'downward spiral' on Saturday eh.

My point is that you can look at what you have in relation to others in the league. The top three are running away with it so you have to assume big budgets. The rest are in a dogfight so you have to also assume budgets on a par. The problem is that we can't fight our way out of a paper bag so far and with the actual squad looking half decent then you have to look at the manager or management team unfortunately. I hope for a turn around as a season ticket holder who feels like staying at home rather than watch what we are putting on the pitch. However I'll be there in Saturday as I would miss the prof and peters banter! 👍 And there's a burger king just round from the ground. Bacon double cheeseburger meal will do nicely! 🍔

I was, for some time, torn on the question of Kevin Harper and his future at the club. Sterling work last season to polish and almighty turd and keep us in the SPFL. Fear for us now, though, and wonder if he has the dressing room on side...

Youre not alone. Jordie. We're seeing a division in the fans on this but concern throughout. I respect those who see it differently and fully understand the loyalty to Kevin for what he achieved last season. If he can turn it around then all well and good although personally I dont see it happening. The danger is where we end up as we head to the bottom. It could be last season all over again and there isnt a berwick around to save us this time.

Somebody mentioned budgets...KH has twice the budget of Brogan, indeed its not far short of what Brian Kerr had in League One.

Utter utter nonsense of a thread. We are 4 points of a play off place and in a 10 team league we are mid-table. As for some of the other guff being spouted it’s malicious and absolute lies. Well how do you sum up today’s performance

Very poor. Didn't have a decent shot on goal. Good to see Macdonald get on. If we don't beat Stennie next week we are doomed.
Never thought I could get so annoyed by the Rovers.

I was unlucky enough to be at the game today and no one got a pass mark, awful against Stirling who are no great shakes, barely created a chance, hopeless lump up the park the team is so flat, zero spirit. We are in trouble

Changing goalie will change nothing. Point the finger where it belongs. The manager. Has he gone yet. If not why?

Time is up for Kevin for me now too. His probably one and only shot at football management by the looks of it disappearing as quickly as Rovers' league status if we're not careful.
No idea where it all went wrong, the squad looks miles better than last season but simply cannot put a performance together on the park. I'd like to hear his thoughts on what has happened but whatever it is he is the manager and carries the can. He'll probably blame the players and to be fair they're not blameless either.
I'm sorry Kevin but it's time to do the decent thing.
