Just watched an interview on Sky Sports where David said was considering quitting the professional game due to personal abuse he is suffering every game, dating back to when he spoke to the media a few years ago relating to his mental health issues. This is completely unacceptable in this day and age,and would like to think that even though he will be an opposition player against us on Tuesday,we show a bit of solidarity to the guy.At the end of the day,he is a regular guy and should be supported in any way possible.

Great post, Stephen, as someone who has family members with mental health issues, I hope folks take on board what you say. Well done.

100 percent agree. Was absolutely appalled particularly as some of it was from fellow players and coaches. Hopefully none of this came from our club. Tempted to say the guilty should be named and shamed and dealt with appropriately. They are the ones who should be quitting the game. All the best to the guy. Keep on playing and answer them the best way. By outplaying them on the pitch.

Would just like to wish David cox all the very best for coming out and telling everyone what he has been facing during matches. These people have no place in football and should hold there heads in shame. Well done David you will come out of this a stronger person for standing up and letting people know the truth.

Echo all of the above. Seen David play on a number of occasions in the league and thought he would be a great player for the Rovers as he always gives 100% and gets decisive goals. Lets appreciate him if he plays on Tuesday night.
