I thought the team played with more guts determination and skill than they have for a long time. The keeper was excellent but had no chance with their first goal and a good save for their penalty. Sorry don't know our no 5 but I thought he was immense today, won everything in the air and defended solidly on the pitch.
If the team continue in this vein they need fear no one in this League. Will enjoy reading the papers tomorrow

Starting eleven magnificent. Got a bit hairy after the subs came on and had the penalty gone in we might have blown it East Fife style. Goodfellow has been a revelation in the past month and a close call between him and Ozzy see for motm. Only disappointment was smart who gives nothing. Had high hopes for him but doesn't look interested. Ref kept the fine beaton family tradition of being crap going. Merry Christmas everyone!

Agree with all of the above, especially Jimbo. Funny to see East and Byrne squabbling over who took the penalty. Just as well he scored.
A few great chances missed as well, could easily have been more than 4. Especially at 1- 0 when See was clean through and it seemed all the forwards had a go without scoring.
Goodfellow is a different keeper these days so well done to him. Smart is a waste of a jersey. No ifs, bits or maybes.
The Annan penalty saved at 4-2 was pretty crucial. We looked well shaken at that stage. Annan only started playing at 4-0!!!!
Nade is a handful and I was pleased to see he was on the bench at the beginning.
Once again I’m especially pleased for Kevin. Results went our way but what a difference between this Rovers team now compared to a few months ago. Credit where it’s due and well done to him and his staff.
Crowd was very poor numbers-wise. Annan must have brought at least a car load but that was it!!

Great performance today and everyone involved played their part. Goodfellow and Wharton especially were immense, but team itself was brilliant. Declan,Euan and everyone were excellent to a man.But it's Rovers-so never easy and made to sweat at times!.Lots of positives and well pleased-excellent team ethic and workload.

Fantastic team display today. From first whistle we were right in about them, game could have and should have been out of sight after first 45mins, went 4-0 and crusing and then the substitutions seen the pace and relentlessness drop, happened against QP in the last home game too. Lost two goals and keeper saved penalty at 4-2 (just as well) or victory from a 4-0 start could have been in serious doubt. Anyway happy to go away with much needed three points and trip to Brechin should be a good one. If KH is looking for his starting 11 then you have found it, start the same 11 next week and i reckon we should take points away at Brechin. Thought big Ouzy rightfully got the man of the match today he was immense and covered every blade of grass. Referee was pants as usual so no change there.

Most enjoyable game in a long long time. 1st half was brilliant, effort from nearly everyone was tremendous. We scored 4 and it should have been 7 or 8. What impressed most was that for the bulk of the game when presented with danger we dealt with it without causing much stress. When we tried to mess about we lost goals. The sour point was that despite defending Smart for a while now his effort today was utterly pathetic and has been for weeks. Not the same guy who played at the end of last season.

The football phrase 'this was a Christmas Cracker ' sums up totally this today - both teams gave it a good go - but we were hungrier, more determined , fought for every loose ball and some of our interlinking play was a joy to behold . This was a result that is long overdue as we had this in us and should reverberate through the players in the coming matches. If we can carry this on to Brechin and beyond who knows where our fortunes will take us - very much upwards for 2020. We have a team that is oven ready for a successful season ! Brilliant post sir!!

Well, well, what an entertaining end to end game.
Some cracking goals and also a terrible penalty miss too (Phew!!)
Annan up to their usual diving etc. antics. No change from the game at Galabank then!
That's 7 points from our last 3 games - SUPERB!
Great result in the end.
The table looks a lot better now.
Huge game at Glebe Park next Saturday!
C'MON ROVERS!!!!!!

Great team performance today thought Breen was outstanding in the middle winning the tackle and being able to pick a pass something we have been missing and Morena was a warrior as usual all over the park.
The best I’ve seen Ouzy See play since he played 10 minutes last season for Berwick his work rate was amazing and had some outstanding flicks when holding the ball up.
Byrne is turning into a great captain leading bye example and would also chase everything down and was rewarded with that for the 3rd goal.
Defence had a great 70 minutes then I think we started to tire but thought Jason Krones dealt with Nade brilliantly.
What an amazing feeling it is to have a brilliant goalkeeper actually signed and not on loan. Goodfellow did not fill me with confidence at the start of the season but he has had an incredible few games for us lately and seems to be communicating better with the back line now.
And does anyone know if Annan do highlights as I would want to watch Scallys free kick over and over again.

A very sound performance up to 4-0 but it wouldn't be Rovers if they didn't give us a few shakes. If the penalty goes in we have a bit of a squeaky bum spell for the last 12 minutes or so. Glass half full though: Goodfellow, Krones, Morena, See and Byrne were superb and none of the others that far behind for most of the game and the league table looks rather more reassuring.
Heard there was a wee party on the train to Helensburgh after the game.

Ouzy needed time to get his fitness and confidence back, and we seen what he brings to the table today. Was a constant thorn in Annan's side today and had a great shift today.Really impressed with work ethic and togetherness today.Wharton also sorted out their number 9 who wanted to be the big man-and he was quickly put in his place.

Couldn’t make the game yesterday maybe I should stay away. That is s brilliant 3 points against a very solid L2 side who cuffed Cove 6-1. The critics have been answered-a lot of the criticism was fair tbh , a little of it was OTT. I’m sure the manager will be disappointed with losing two goals. I still think our defence needs adjustment , I think the manager’s aim is to bring Calum Home into the team- we’ll see. Let’s go for the jugular against Brechin.

Fantastic yesterday and hope the manager sticks with the same 11 away at Brechin next week. Team looked solid yesterday.

Agree 100% Bucky. The criticism at the time was bang on. The team were a mess and vast improvement was needed. Kevin wasn't immune from that criticism but calling for him to be sacked was at least a step or two too far. His jaicket was on a shaky nail for sure but he deserved time.
Parallels with last year weren't helpful or accurate either. It's clear this group of players is far superior to the Brogan era and managerial-wise, jeez don't get me started. There's definitely something about Kevin - could make that into the sequel of "We need to talk about Kevin", lol. He demonstrated last season he had what it takes to pull off a miracle. And in recent weeks he's stepped up again.
The team yesterday was night and day compared to back then. The defence still needs sorting out but the no-nonsense 'clear your lines' approach works fine for me. That way we're playing in the opposition half more often and we have players up top who have movement, who can score, and who will cause teams problems.
Another few results like yesterday and we'll be getting all carried away with talk of play off places and other bollocks like that. I genuinely don't think that's realistic but we should be aiming to finish at least above Stenny and Brechin.
