A nervy game today, where our interlinking play was good at times, but when Morena went off,we lost our shape in central midfield.Would have preferred Wharton back in defence but overall will take the point today. A better point for us than for Brechin. Yes saw we had to make an early change with Morena coming off which is bit of a blow. Would like to see Nikki Paterson getting a crack of the whip in this situation but it looks to me that the priority is to get Calum Home into the team. At the start ofthe day I thought this is the type of game we should be winning- on reflection this is a good away point and keeps the unbeaten run going as well as a clean sheet for Goodfellow Callum came on and looked good. Unfortunately he got an injury near the end of the game. ‘Vers finished the game with 10 men as all subs used. Hopefully it’s not too bad for Callum as he deserves a bit of a break. Didn’t look great though.

That Home injured again. Jeezo, is he related to Jason “made of glass” Marr.

Good battling performance against a 'fired up' Brechin. In the end a decent result.

Great match with end to end stuff. 35 shots with about 16 on target between the teams. Could've been 5 each in reality on another day. Overall, very good battling performance against a Brechin team who should be safe if they keep up their current performance. Cannot understand why Gary Phillips wasn't used as a sub. He could've given us the steady hand in midfield when Morena went off.
Finally, must applaud the Trust for their excellent sponsorship of today's bus. Much appreciated. 👏👏

Too many daft long balls yesterday
ended up under the cosh when morena went off injured in the first half
Home is aswell retiring every game he has played he has went off injured and is now nothing more than a burden on the clubs wage bill. A good player but we cant afford to pay somone who just sits on the sidelines

Agree. Sometimes you have to cut your losses and both him and osaldor are now burdens for different reasons. Also have to question the substitutions. Always seem to have the wrong effect.

I wonder if some of the people who post comments regarding tactics have any ideas on how to play the game. I also wonder if they have played themselves at a level that suggests we should take their comments seriously? How many teams in the 2nd division play possession football or have players with the ability to play that type of football? I would suggest none. I think we should encourage the boys rather than criticise and abuse them.

Saying there were too many daft long balls is not a tactical criticism, it's common sence, why not play an easy pass 3 or 4 yards, instead of a daft 40 yard crossfield ball which results in us losing possession and allowing brechin to catch us out on the break
Do you think playing a long ball up front to a striker marked by 3 defenders consistantly was the best tactic in the game
Also we have closed other teams down quickly in the last few matches with massive success somthing we totally ignored yesterday
you think because other teams do somthing we should do the same
I can read a game of football brechin wanted it more. I would suggest taking the blinkers off, looking at what happened yesterday and realising people are encouraged when they do well, if they play poorly will be chastised, but worst of all is when people show they can do somthing and then not do it

As previously stated I was only questioning the competence of those who make comments they don’t appear to be qualified to make.Your response confirms my thoughts! 🤔

I presume you’re suggesting that people are entitled to their own opinion? I would agree. However some people’s opinions could be discounted I’m sure you would agree! Especially if they are not found to be competent! 🙄
