Disappointing today. I wonder if two of the team changes were enforced through injuries and suspension? Maybe? If we try to play wee short passes through the middle of the park the second goal is likely to be the outcome I would suggest. Positive is we did much better all over the park in the second half. Could maybe have even had a couple of goals.

Rovers players should have been wearing Santa hats and waving wee white flags. Every individual battle was lost today and yet Smart gets criticised for not being a team player. A bang average Stirling side won’t get an easier 3 points the whole season. We should have enough but make no mistake this team could easily sleep walk it’s way to relegation.
The fans should get an apology after that performance (they won’t).

The first half performance from every single player was an utter embarrassment. Not much else to say.

Unbeaten in December. So why change the team? Clueless manager. Which changes were you unhappy with?

First half looked like men against boys with some schoolboy errors to gift the points to Stirling. Only comfort was Stenhousemuir and Brechin also losing so no lost ground beneath our feet but a bit distant now above our heads. Fairly good attendance today- big support from Stirling - we should ask all the other club chairman to fund buses to our matches as it should boost our average attendance !

For starters. See on the bench and gary phillips in defence. We had no midfield whatsoever and the defence was back to early season shambles. Byrne up front on his own. I could go on and on. That was a tactical embarrasment. Play like that and only brechin can save us.

Euan and Dec started the game up front, so not sure about that one. We played 4-4-2 as we did throughout December, the tactics didn’t change. Ouzy started on the bench so that Euan and Dec could start up top together like they did in the first 2 games in December.

Shambles from start to finish. Couldn't do the basics. Wharton at fault for the penalty. Looked like a penalty to me anyway and not helped by the fact Wharton had a blatant nudge at their striker on the halfway line moments before that. I'm sure that was still in the ref's mind when he pointed to the spot.
As for the second goal, jeez! We're not Barcelona/Man City/Liverpool etc etc. What the keeper was thinking making that pass I do not know. Suicidal and deservedly punished. The bobbly pitch played its part but the pass should never have been made.
Third goal was a tidy enough finish.
The sort of performance that gets you relegated - make no mistake. Yeah we were helped by other results but if Stenny or Brechin string a few good games together then we are really in the sh1tter.
The fact Smart couldn't get onto the pitch for me says it all.
Cowdenbeath will be relishing next weekend's 'challenge' and a wee boost to their goal difference.

As for 4-4-2 you could have fooled me. Clearly east was as bad as the rest today. See is a danger up front and a nuisance and was needed although with the midfield missing may not have helped much. The simple fact is we were absolute garbage everywhere today and that includes the decisions from the dugout. Absolute, undefendable drivel.

I guess you were fooled then because it was 4-4-2 from the start. We have 4 players who can play left back at the club (5 if you include Lewis Guy from the reserves) Ross was suspended, Lewis was unavailable, Jordan Stewart is injured and Lewis is on loan.... so I ask again who would you have played instead of Gary, who by the way has played left back on numerous occasions including this season. Again, I ask which decisions from the dug out are you unhappy with other than See being on the bench. Who by the way had an off game last week so that may have been the reason for the managers decision 🤷🏽♂️

Jaydee-I have heard good reports about a left back in the reserves who is tenacious and brave-is this Lewis Guy?. Yes it is. He has been on loan to Kilsyth Rangers. He has played really well for the reserves, talks very well and is, as you said brave in the tackle. 👍🏼
