Cracking save at 1-0 from Goodfellow when he somehow turned a QP effort over the bar - save right out of the top drawer. Balanced by his kamikaze clearance in the second half when under no real pressure he skied a clearance which Wharton did well to head back to him. To be fair to Goody, it took a massive bobble as it reached him. I thought he was superb yesterday again. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, I've got to be honest and say I don't think it did take a massive bobble Jaydee. Not even a small bobble from where I was sitting which was virtually in line with him.

It definitely looked as though the ball jumped as he went to strike it, I thought? My view was trackside looking straight down the barrel so to speak. Lol, I assume it’s not on the highlights? Can’t bring myself to watch the second half yet 🙈

One of the worse refereeing ive seen in a while, Queens conned the ref multiple times throughout the game and he fell for it everytime, though we did throw the game away and should have been back in front if not for a very poor penalty kick, same old story, though was happy enough with the point in the end. Just as an aside... that is the 3rd time (that I’m sure about- could be more) the club have had him this season. He has given a penalty against us every time. Cowdenbeath away it hits Sean Fagan on the chest, the reserves last Monday which was very questionable and then yesterday which I thought was soft. Add that to the fact that Ouzy should have had a penalty for the same thing he gave QP theirs for, Scally was brought down inside the box but he brought it back to outside the box and missed a blatant elbow on Morena which has resulted in a black eye and I think it’s fair to say he didn’t have his best day. The ref was great and very fair up until half time. Scally fell inside the box but the foul started way outside the box and I'm sure that's why the free kick was given. Not an expert on the rules but that seems to me to be fair? Can't actually remember who took the resultant free kick but it was a decent effort which their keeper did well to save.

That used to be the rule, which I agree always seemed fair to me, however the law was changed at some point in the last 4 years (can’t remember exactly when but my over 35’s team were a ‘victim’ of it when the striker stayed on his feet until he got into the box then fell and got the penalty I think our defender had a hold of him for about 5 minutes 😂) also got this from FIFA’s website: “ If a defender starts holding an attacker outside the penalty area and continues holding inside the penalty area, the referee must award a penalty kick.”

Fair enough then, every day is indeed a school day. That should have been a penalty and that's another shit decision to add to the others the ref made.
Anyhoo, it's time for Love Island where the rules are much clearer..................... lol!

Aye, I was sure I'd shouted abuse at him before 😂
