Well that was worth the over-priced train journey from Durham! Proper football played in mad conditions, the game had it all, a real six pointer! Hats off to the wee ultras behind the goal, non of them had a coat on!!! A few pints in Coatbridge, two pies, a Rovers win and the train home before the rugby buggers singing gospel songs! What more could you want from a Saturday!
Thanks for the replies re the strips. I'm guessing the stains one was a joke, as how do they get the stains out of the other two kits? It's a shame you don't use the yellow much as it's a cracker. At least the red one has yellow trim so it's still the club colours.

To be fair the blue and white one is club colours too. 😉

Unlike the Cove debacle - great highlights! I'd actually forgotten how many chances we created - especially Ouzy's in the first half.
Can now see why the penalty was given, although to me it looks like a genuine attempt to play the ball by McAllister - maybe just a leading arm that does it for the ref?
Great to see that 4th goal from Scott Roberts again and the finish from Daniel Scally for the 3rd is a touch of class too - would have been easy just to smash that but he places it nicely beyond the keeper.

The ref can be seen clearly on the video gesturing that it is a pull on a jersey that he gives it for. Nick leans into the boy but doesn’t appear to be ‘pulling’ him and he falls away from Nick which would be difficult if he’s being pulled.
If it’s for a push then it’s again a very soft award but it looks to me that the ref didn’t know what he saw but wanted to give a penalty 🤷🏽♂️
Good quality highlights. Scott’s goal definitely a contender for goal of the season.
Brechin had chances at 1-0 and 1-1 which I’d kinda forgotten about. 4-1 suggests it was pretty one-sided but on another day when luck isn’t going your way then these are the type of games that get away from you. We had plenty experience of that in the season we were relegated from L1.
In the end though 4-1 didn’t flatter us. Great day at the office, job done and all that.
Just seen highlights of the Brechin game.Ouzy See had a great game, set up two goals and might have had a goal himself.Must be a nightmare to play against when he is in this sort of form.Keep it up Ouzy.
Roberts goal is a cracker - positively Zidane-esque.
Good wee highlights package too- just about every club in the world has a highlights package apart from us . No idea what the problem is. We did have a couple of experiments when in L1 and nothing long term came from them which is disappointing.
I agree about the quality of the highlights, matched the quality of some of our play. Reminded me of how much good work See put in when we were going forward: he is going through a very decent spell. I would also venture to suggest that all of our squad who played in the last three matches merit pass marks at the very least, with special mention of McAllister who hasn't put a foot wrong.

Very composed and assured for his age. 👏🏼👏🏼
Aye, he’s no bad for an “18 year old laddie that we didn’t need”. LOL
