Great idea......but why the 65 age limit? I would guess insurance would be the main one and also itโs a specific training qualification to work with people over 65. ๐๐ผ

Seriously, I think it`s a good idea and hope it`s a success.

The specifications are laid down by the SPFL Trust so there will be reasons for them. The money comes from the Scottish Government to meet specific health targets therefore the rules.
Putting that aside I would highly recommend the programme as I took part a few years ago and found it really useful. Very enjoyable but at the same time makes you think about lifestyle choices. As well as coming along yourself, please recommend it to friends and family.

Possibly, but more likely they are trying to make sure everyone is safe. Bearing in mind itโs for people with a waist size over 38 add that to someone who is over 65 and they would really require a more personalised 1-to-1 service rather than a group setting with mixed ages and abilities. But as you said, a brilliant idea and hopefully a roaring success again.

Football Fans in Training starts tonight in the lounge at the stadium at 6.30. A great way to work towards fitness and look at lifestyle choices with former player Sean Higgins taking the classes.
