Team selection baffling today-(bearing in mind I'm not party to the full picture).Hunter was over-run,and his replacement-Nikki Paterson fared no better. Why See did not start is another mystery for Scooby Doo to solve, and would have thought we would have found a way to fit Breadner into our system.Wharton was a big miss today-plays to his strengths and knows his limitations. We are full of midfielders/forwards,but really lack an identity at the back-Goodfellow is the only one with pass marks in our rearguard.

Thank goodness for Brechin City. Regardless of what division we are plying out trade in next year this has been a really disappointing campaign.

A bit harsh. We did huff and puff a bit to be fair. Had our chances and probably should have sneeked a point. Fair play to Elgin - that is what you call winning ugly.

As opposed to losing ugly. I have no idea what we do in training as we look absolutely clueless. I repeat what I said during the week. If Kevin harper goes at the end of the season it won't be because of a change in chairman, it'll be his record. No future in management.

Along with most of the rest of them. And why Morena and Ousy on the bench? Bonkers!

A wee mention to the young guy Fraser, a hibs fan, who we met in spoons. Doing a project on the Vers and was asking some questions about the club, fans, etc. Was at the game today and hope you enjoyed it more than us! All the best!

Reckon I agree with pretty much all of that. Two terrible defensive errors led to the Elgin goals. Poor goalkeeping choice - he was caught in no-man's land - allowed Scally to equalise with a decent header and there endeth the scoring after 7 minutes. The Elgin goals were fine strikes in all fairness.
We laid siege to their goal in the second half and one well placed shot from See came back off the post. Elgin's time wasting was quite funny and the ref punished bits of it but not all.
Team selection baffled me a bit as well. Wharton was in the stand along with the youth players. Morena on the bench was a mystery. See or East; potato, potato lol but why wait so long to make the change?
Was absolutely freezing today and I'm wondering just how cold it needs to be before JD wears long trousers?

Honestly can’t get my head around the managers team selection today. What does he see at training that no one else sees?

BBC stats suggest, a pretty even match, text first half was Elgin's, second was Rovers. My son was at the game, thought Rovers did not deserve to win but did not deserve to lose either. He led the cheering when the ball hit the post late on, then ran along the line and was cleared. On another day it would have gone in, lady luck elsewhere last wee while.
The play offs at the top are out of the question, job is to avoid the other play off. Don't see too many games, geographically challenged, but what I have seen does not match the level of pessimism on here. OK, I am a happy clappy, although happy or sad we are all entitled to our opinion..
