I'm sure I'm not alone in not wanting a refund on my season ticket. Don't know if it'll be enough to keep the club going but every little helps I suppose.

Same here, Jimbo. Mine was always going to be a virtual donation....but I don't mind at all. Anything, anything at all which helps ARFC to keep going. I'm just a bit disappointed I missed one or two games which I could have seen but heyho, as they say.

Absolutely, although I do hope that the games can go ahead at some time.

As the "plan" seems to be to slow it down so the hospitals can cope it could be months and even into next season!

Hopefully it will just be a short postponement. The main question is are the clubs finances strong enough to cope for a prolonged suspension? Most lower league clubs for that matter.

Rovers gate receipts aren't very large but could be critical. If the club need some cash I hope they'll let us know.

Good point Chris - a major thing for clubs such as Rovers that every one expires after end of season.

How about rovers fans who would have went too our remaining home games for the season pay what they would have spent on a matchday into the club if they set up a fundme page or something, every little helps. just an idea.

I'm sure I'm not alone in not wanting a refund on my season ticket. Don't know if it'll be enough to keep the club going but every little helps I suppose. Likewise Jimbo42 I wouldn't think of asking for a refund on my season ticket and am sure most ,if not all, season ticket holders will take the same stand. This will be a very difficult time for all clubs, even if the shut down proves to be relatively short. The Rovers will not be an exception. Anything the fans/ community can do to help I am sure would be welcome by the board. Possibly one idea in a few weeks time could be to put season tickets on sale for next season. Anything to bring in much needed income has to be looked at. I am confident that the BOD will already be working on ways to reduce costs and to see the club through to the end of the season or to the end of the suspension of games. However, it will be challenging and will eat into reserves of funds which will impact far beyond this season. I read the joint statement from the SPFL/SFA earlier announcing the suspension of all games in Scotland until further notice. This is the correct decision in the circumstances and it is right that the entire statement focussed on health issues. However, I am dismayed at their other pronouncements , basically stating that clubs are own their own during this crisis. I believe the SFA/ SPFL have now to move to a new phase soon and consult with clubs on how as the national bodies for football they can work with member clubs on a plan to reduce the impact of the situation which will not only badly affect clubs now but well into next season.
