I see Jordie is teasing us again as he's upped the target to 10 grand again! Personally I'd have left it at 7.5k which doesn't of course stop donations and the percentage raising upwards. A superb £8,300 at the moment.

Yeah, I think people will be less likely to donate if they see you’ve already reached your target

Yeah, I think people will be less likely to donate if they see you’ve already reached your target Brilliant idea from Jordo and effort by Vers fans. Stirling Albion set theirs at 10k haven't moved it and are now over 26k. Keep donating your home game spends if you can and sharing (encouraging) others.

Been thinking of this from a marketing perspective, and think we all could possibly drive up a few more donations.
All of this week if we and our friends share a buy the rovers a pint on Saturday night on facebook, watsapp and word of mouth, we could raise a few more quid.
The idea is if people go out on a Saturday, which they can't, they would buy drinks and food. All we are asking is buy us a pint £3 to £4 quid. We blitz the message on Saturday night and hopefully raise some more funds. Thoughts??

The above might give the just giving effort a boost. Ronnie

So folks, if you know of someone who has ever been to a Rovers game, or represented the rovers then share this idea. The price of a pint, not too much to ask, lets make this Saturday a night to remember in our virtual just giving pub. As prof says, "Lets do this"

Is someone responsible for the twitter page able to advertise this idea?

The club twitter feed has mentioned it several times already & presumably will again.

Thanks, again, to everyone for their continued efforts and support since the page was established.
I believe it can remain active until June - do we all agree their will be a continued appetite to donate from now until then?
Thanks
Jordie

Excellent amount to date and hopefully it can continue to grow. Well done to all those who have donated and those behind the scenes who have reminded and encouraged people to donate. Let's get to £10k. And brilliant effort from Jordan getting it off the ground and continuing to organise.
June is fine...only wee question is would club need money before then
