There is just no need for relegation or play offs. See above post. Plenty of scope to change things and freshen up the product. Total agreement with your proposal, could even tweak it a little and have 3 leagues, premier, championship and 1st division.

Ok, so you have 1 league of 20, how many meaningless mid table games are you going to have

My point is all 4 leagues are competitive weather it be going for a title going for playoffs fighting relegation or avoiding relegation playoff
Why would you change that, there is nothing about that, that needs changed

Rovers will receive the not so princely sum of £17,670 from the SPFL now that the season is over as the last installment. Their payout over the whole season is 0.19% of the total pot based on being 9th in League 2 and totalled £47,500. I understand that the above figure of £17k which The Sun quoted (who'd have though they'd be wrong?) is substantially more than the actual amount the club will receive, welcome though it is.

Entitled to your in opinion. Some of us think otherwise and see a different way forward. Such is life. For me no game is meaningless.

Split for top two at end, better play off games with more at stake, and the diddy cups start in August instead of July. All good debate this but totally futile as we'll have no say whatsover in what unfolds. Keep the faith, the SPFL will get it right!🙄

See plastic whistle have decided against legal action despite thinking they would win as they don't want to be responsible for finishing other clubs through not getting their final league payments. Respect.

I wonder where the Sun got those figures from. I am sure the Board thought if only when they read them. Maybe the Sun will make up the difference between the reality and their figures! Seriously though, the early payment of SPFL prize money will be very welcome by us and clubs like us. Ronnie

Glad the clubs will get their money that was owed them anyway. Still don't see what that vote had to do with saving Hearts, sorry league (singular) reconstruction but then we must look after everyone's favourite league.

I see that East Juniors have declared the season null & void so no champions or sides relegated.

Respect. I'm not sure I buy that jimbo. I think if they thought for a minute they would win then they'd be in court. It makes a good headline though. A bit like Rangers only wanting the SPFL payout made earlier so as to help out all the other clubs. Yeah that'll be their motivation for sure.

Perhaps. Prefer to think the best of people when possible! Except referees. And managers. And the SFA. And the SPFl. Bollocks! So much for the glass half full mentality! 👍🙄😁

It’s dull and does nothing to attract new fans. If the end of season “nothing games” are the worry then why can’t we extend all the leagues and bring in a split in every league? That way you play everyone twice (in a 16 team league) giving you 30 games then you play a further 7 games in your mini league. This would mean 4 at home and 3 away or vice versa, but you could do a 50/50 gate split for those 7 games or something 🤷🏽♂️ But to say nothing needs changing in our league set ups is a bit short sighted.
