Looking forward to the legal action from Hearts. Almost every other top flight league are planning to conclude season in proper way. Peter I don't think Hearts will raise a legal action Peter. Like Partick Thistle and other clubs recently , they will back off for a number of reasons. The costs which they can't afford, the uncertainty of winning their case and the inordinate time the process will take going through the courts: prolonged at the best of times but in Covid19 world could take for ever to get a decision. Kelty Hearts are also threatening legal action but I'm certain for the above mentioned reasons they will too back off. A more likely outcome is that there will be a reconstruction plan suggested by the revived group led by Anne Budge which will propose a 14 team premier and 3 other 10 team leagues. Kelty and Brora will come into League 2. The danger of this for teams like the Rovers is that this will be for one year only and a return to 42 league teams the following season: meaning 2 teams relegated from League 2. I hope we keep a very close eye on any possible proposals like this. Also 2 other threats to teams at our level are moves to play games behind closed doors and an end or major reduction to the furlough scheme after October. I am sure our board will follow these developments closely as they could all have an important impact on the future of the Rovers. Ronnie

That probably will be the case Chris: potentially 3 teams going from League 2. Not a situation I think teams like us would find attractive. If there is to be reconstruction , it should be for a minimum of 3 years with a review then.

The west region juniors have declared their champions using average points per game Premiership - Auchinleck Position - 3rd Difference to 1st - 12 Championship - joint Blantyre vics/Darvel Position - 3rd/1st Difference to 1st - 7/0 League 1 - Shettleston Position - 3rd Difference to 1st - 1 League 2 - Johnston burgh Position - 5th Difference to 1st - 8 The decision to award these teams the titles is now being investigated. Turns out the west juniors were going to null and void the season until a director from Auchinleck interviened and convinced the board to award the titles to teams the way they did

I see that ex-Accies secretary and current UEFA match delegate and stadium inspector Scott Struthers is to investigate the West Juniors decision.

I don’t quite understand it when they suggest it’s part-time clubs who wouldn’t be able to cope. Surely full-time ones would be at least as unlikely to be able to cope, probably more as their wage bills are of course much higher.

Livingston have been declared winners of Reserve League 2 which included Rovers. They were 3 points ahead of Ayr in 2nd with Livi having played 1 game more so very tight! See the final table here!
