Apparantly all league 2 clubs have agreed and are trying to push 3 divisions of 14

But, as we know we've no pull as the voting structure is heavily weighted agin us! Ann Budge and a few others would happily jettison league 2 and probably league 1 clubs without a 2nd thought.

14 clubs, play each other four times 52 league games playing each team home and away twice, lot of league games.
14 clubs, play each other three times 39 league playing some clubs twice at home, some away twice, messy.
Including all the cup competitions plus 52, probably over busy, plus 39 about as tight as now.
There has to be a case for fewer matches, even than the above.

I would imagine it would be play everybody twice then split into either 2 mini leagues of 7 or a 6 and an 8/ 8 and a 6. Giving you a much more manageable 31/32/33 game season 👍🏼

Voting is split into 3 Prem Champ League 1 and 2 You need 75% from all 3 levels to agree 9 from prem 8 from champ 15 from league 1 and 2

Kelty Hearts are understandably unchuffed with the 3 x 14 idea and say they forgo any league payment in the first season if they’re allowed in.

Boss Kevin Harper admits Albion Rovers would like to play clubs that boost revenue next term after League Two took a hard line on reconstruction plans. SPFL2 sides have backed a 14-14-14 model which would see League One clubs Clyde, Peterhead, Forfar and Stranraer play in the bottom tier. Read the article from the Record here, and Clyde aren't happy!

If I understand it correctly Rovers would face the following teams next season if this plan is passed:
East Fife Dumbarton Clyde Peterhead Forfar Athletic Stranraer Elgin Cowdenbeath Queen's Park Stirling Albion Annan Athletic Stenhousemuir Brechin City
All very familiar to us although it's a few years since we visited Dumbarton.

If the 14-14-14 proposal is passed, we would be in a division with the same league 2 teams from this season, plus Clyde, Peterhead, Forfar and Stranraer, meaning Cove and Edinburgh would stay in the division

Oh God no; please not Clyde. One arrogant 'Glasgow' team is quite enough, thank you very much.

Got to think Clyde, Dumbarton and East Fife (if going well) can bring good away support

Present Division one clubs would be Airdrie/Falkirk/Clyde/Dumbarton and East Fife for decent away support - not including Raith Rovers as they would be up a league. This is a perfect arguement to merge the bottom 2 leagues if the 14/14/14 doesnt go through .
