Didn’t Ross Stewart (goalkeeper) receive a call up to the scotland u21 team whilst with us, only to withdraw? Also Kieran Wright played u19 with scotland whilst on loan at us

Kevin McAllister?

No mention of any international honours (at any level ) for Crunchie on various bios....and, yes, two U21 caps for Dougie Bell in the 1980s

Indeed....22 caps for ROI....his bio shows one appearance for Rovers in 2001. His son (also Tommy )played 13 times for us 2008-2009. I remember seeing him play as trialist for Rovers in pre season matches at Tow Law Town and Spennymoor Town two days later

A couple more to add to the list: Lindsay Hodge: played for the Scotland amateur team several times in the early 1950s. Jimmy Conlin: he is listed in the 'Boys From the 'Brig' page of players who went on to become internationals after leaving Rovers (although BFTB calls him John, or Johnny Conlin). Conlin played for England v Scotland at Hampden in 1906 when he was with Bradford City (BFTB mistakenly says Bradford Park Avenue), but I have a programme which states he also played for the Football League (i.e. English League) v the Scottish League at Chelsea in 1905-06 He played for Rovers from 1901-04 and gets several glowing mentions in the pages of BFTB. It seems like he was the Vic Kasule of his day - there's a great piece about him on this Bradford City site: web.archive.org/web/20150923182125/http://www.bantamspast.co.uk/earlydays/fallenheroes.htmlHe died serving in the First World War in 1917. But the most incredible thing about him is that he was only the 2nd player ever to have been transferred for £1,000 (the first was Alf Common, who went from Sunderland to Middlesbrough for the same amount) - so at one time an ex-Rovers player was the joint most expensive footballer in the World.

Has Simon got international caps? It was a prank on him (somewhere on YouTube) by the other players that he was getting called up!
