I’m kinda mixed about this appointment but hope he does well. Personally would have gone for a younger manager who has already cut their teeth.
Hopefully JD will continue as Physio but understand the manager might want his own people in. Got a lot of time for JD even though some get on their high horse about him contributing on here -crying over spilt milk if there ever was a case.

That’s very nice of you both. I don’t want to count my chickens, obviously, but I’d be delighted to stay on and early indications are that the manager is happy with that too. So I’ll try my best not to spill too much milk, but (disappointingly for some) I will continue to contribute on here. Here’s to a successful season ahead.... whenever that will be. 👍🏼

All the very best to the new manager. Will be difficult job for anyone coming in. Fingers crossed for an early return to live football again.

An article, partly about BR in the Sunday Express today (since when did they know we even exist?). It seems BR is in favour of the Colts being admitted to the SPFL

Not a good start from the manager - first the Colts thing now an interview saying thank goodness Brora didn’t get into the league as it’s a bit far to travel. Embarrassing.

Brora chairman said for a full season he didnt want brora going up just before his team just so happened to lose playoff final v Montrose amid rumours the deliberately threw it, they had made 5 changes to their team after winning the first leg, players just so happened to pick up injuries with 1 allowed to leave for a stag doo and another going on holiday

I think the club and manager will need to wise up at the way things are being reported via the Tizer online these days.
All the headlines are SEO and click-baited. Reid's comment to me was a silly but fair point that he is now able to know his budget as the Brora figures don't need to be factored in. It contained some nice but boring updates about offers being out to players etc
the SEE thing again is being reported as an "embarrassing gaffe" without any real content to go on other than a vague tweet, no comment from player or club.
We need to wise up and play the game a bit more , we aren't dealing with a couple of quotes on Injuries for the back of the local paper anymore, anything that can be made something will be.

Absolutely Sam we are painfully slow at reacting to these things. The club gets a pounding yesterday all day going into today. At the very least get on the front foot as say there is another side to the story and do you know what the club signed Ousy on the basis of nurturing him back from serious injury. Got to play the game.
As for Reid it might have been a throwaway comment but there is a real chance we could either play them in the cup or please not the relegation play off. Again get something out there that says the club supports the pyramid league set up.
