*PLEASE PIN*
All,
This afternoon, I have transferred all funds raised through the JustGiving page to the club. The final amount after all charges were applied was £18,409.99 - an astonishing total made possible by the 600+ donations to the page.
I hope these funds will be spent wisely by the BoD and look forward to discussing how this has helped the club at the next AGM.
Thanks,
Jordan 👏🙂

Happy days! I see that the JG page is still accepting donations, will that continue?

As the BOD have said they are delighted at the support this initiative has received and I think you and others can be assured that they will spend it wisely to see the club through these unchartered waters. Your mention of the AGM reminded me of something I have thought of a few times recently and that is the absence of a call for a shareholders' meeting from some of main and usually vocal shareholders to look at ways of supporting the board in these difficult days . Just a thought and a move I am sure the BOD would have been appreciative of. Ronnie

I assumed that, upon withdrawing the funds, the page would close. It appears not, and I’m not sure there’s any mechanism in place to close the page early. Rest assured that any funds received over the course of the next 23 days will be sent to the club.
Jordan.

From the JG website:
You can expire your page, that way it's still visible on the site but donors can no longer donate to it. Here's how:
Log in to your account You'll see your active pages on the left hand side, click 'Edit' underneath the page you'd like to manage Click on ‘Extend your fundraising page’ - this can be found under 'Page Settings' on the right hand side Enter the date for the following day, then your page will expire the next day Click 'Save'
