Albion Rovers Football Club and the wider community would like to offer their grateful thanks for the very generous donation received from Mr Anderson.
Albion Rovers has been an integral part of the local community for many years and this grant enhances our ability to work with and support our community even further.
The enhancements made to the stadium via this grant will help and enhance primarily the health, safety and wellbeing of those who use our facilities and also provide opportunities for those who are less fortunate to be able to enjoy sport at an affordable cost.
Our gratitude for the donation is endless.

I see that this chap has introduced another person to the SPFL trust who doesn’t wish to be named and he is donating £625k now and another £625k in a years time. This will provide £10k for each SPFL teams associated charity - not all clubs have one but we do!
The rest of the cash has also been allocated.

Yes the Rovers are one of the 28 league clubs that has a Community Trust charity. Unlike many of the bigger ones who have paid staff, our is relatively small and entirely volunteer run. The Community Trust have been successful in principle in their bid for funds from the recent donations to the SPFL Trust. Ronnie
