Maybe we should just let the new manager get on with it. As Buchanan says, if players don't want to play, we can't make them. Money talks, as they say, and we ain't got none. Oh, and very surprised that our fearless local journalists haven't taken up the 'See' story again after they gleefully slagged off the club. I do wonder when he was approached by Edinburgh City, etc., etc. No doubt immediately after he was 'sacked on social media' by Rovers. (Aye rite)

P.S. The season starts in October, so quite a bit of time to build up a squad I would think/hope.

Oaft! That’s a non-announcement from the club. So, we’re still waiting on decisions from another 3 very decent players...and have lost 2 more strong bodies?! Ouch!

No mention of our longest serving player Daniel Potts! Must say I’ve thought he’d be better moving on for the last few seasons anyway.

Good to at least have a basis for next season now. Wilson , Fagan , Lynas and Goodfellow all reasonably experienced at this point. Would love to see young Smith get more of a chance in goal too I think he looked like he had some good potential.
Hopefully at least 1 or 2 of Roberts, Scally and East sign up. Im a big fan of East i think hes got goals in him.
Now that most of last seasons players have been resolved, Hopefully the manager now has a better understanding of his budget and can get on in earnest in putting his mark on the squad. I think today/yesterday was the day a lot of teams whos players had contacts extended a month ran out so hopefully we are in more of a position to start getting people in.
I'm a bit lost at the panic of us not signing up loads of guys from last year when most of the posters on here spent last year saying the team wasn't good enough and needed to be rebuilt. I think its probably a good thing for the new manager to have as clean a slate as possible , although as mentioned above I hope he can add at least a bit of "experience" to the young squad he's looking to put together.

Oh, and very surprised that our fearless local journalists haven't taken up the 'See' story again after they gleefully slagged off the club. They’re too busy talking about Airdrie releasing 17 players!

The tiser should drop the Coatbridge from the title. It's a joke these days.

Hope it works out the way he’s planning it. With junior teams joining the pyramid system now in the market for these players and appearing to offer better money it’s a gamble. 🤞🏽

To be honest I can see his point on this. There will be a lot of players looking for a club over the next few weeks and months and hopefully the manager can get some of these guys on board.
I do think Rovers offers a platform for young players who may feel they have been unjustly freed from full time clubs. Players with a bit of hunger and desire to prove a point, mixed with the experience the manager acknowledges we need, and we might have a good season.
I would have been more concerned if KH was still in charge as I felt we were a team going backwards towards the end of his tenure.
Do we have a date for training resuming ?

Do we have a date for training resuming ? Unfortunately not. If the October restart gets the go ahead then I’ve heard we are returning in August, but as with a lot of things just now it’s still up in the air.

Oh my; what a step up. Not our problem anymore: he didn't want to sign, so off he goes. Shame, but that's the way it goes.
