Callum Wilson and Matthew Aitken sign on for the 2020/21 season.
Both join the club after leaving Dumbarton and Forfar Athletic respectively during the summer.
Callum, 21-years-old, made a handful of appearances in League 1 for the Sons. The midfielder making his debut at Pittodrie in the Scottish Cup, after joining from Partick Thistle’s youth set-up.
Matthew, 23-years-old, joins after playing matches across League 1 and League 2 last season, after spending a spell on loan at Elgin City. He made over 40 appearances in League One over a two-season period, where he played up-front and as a winger on both sides of the pitch.
Maybe I am being over optimistic but I think the new manager is putting together a decent squad. Good luck to the players who have been made offers but have chosen to move on. The manager has to work with the budget available. It's finding the balance for clubs like ours between putting a competitive side on the park and not endangering the overall stability of the club by overreaching on the players' budget.

Agree with sentiments from mild rover. The manager needs to ensure he has players that are committed and can work together as a unit. Even on our scale we do not want any one just working their ticket like some of the prima donnas we see in the higher leagues down south or up here.
