Hi All, We are well on the way to finalising the new 'Hall of Fame' in the stadium. Stephen, Alastair and others have been a great help with photos of the nominees, however we'd like more options on the following:
Vic Kasule Tony Green John Dillon Paul Martin
In an ideal world we would have original photos of them playing for/or managing Rovers. Not newspaper clippings or pages from old programmes if at all possible. Colour or black and white is fine.
If you do have anything please let me know and I'll arrange to have a chat about the best way for me to receive the image. I'm at: photomclean@gmail.com or, alternatively on: 07901604365
Thanks very much for this. Please have a look in your files as we really want to show these guys in the best possible light. Iain
PS. Can we have this pinned?

Any help given to Iain will be greatly appreciated . He has put loads of effort into developing the Hall of Fame at the stadium and has good photographs of 5 out of the 9 and if someone can help with any of the 4 remaining ones mentioned it will be really appreciated. The club have done a fine job in renovating the lounge and the Hall of Fame will be a great addition to it.

The Tiser once had photo archives bulging with ace snaps of Rovers favourites like Vic, Tony, John, and Paul, Iain. Not sure if the pics were ever digitised. Worth asking, though.

The archives have been transferred to microfiche and can be accessed at Airdrie Library Reference Dept. Could prove to be tricky getting original photos of these 4 gents.

Thanks folks Have tried the Advertiser via the Record but with little success. Their main archive has either been transferred down south or sold to SNS photo agency. We've also tried North Lan archives but no reply from them. Airdrie library may be worth a shout.

North Lanarkshire Archives closed with staff working from home I suspect. Airdrie Library probably same. May be an email address on the north Lanarkshire council website? Main email is heritagecentre@culturenl.co.uk assuming that someone can access it from home. Also link on website. If you Google North Lanarkshire Council Archives you'll find the page and link. Some team photos featuring Vic also here. www.flickr.com/photos/nl_heritage/38426139736/in/photostream/

Like Iain said we are very grateful to the help given by Stephen, Alasdair, Brian and others. Obviously we want the Hall of Fame to look great and are trying to get the best possible quality of photos available.
