I think supporters, in these no crowd days, will be pleased with what Mr Millar is helping with (if it is what I think it might be).

It's a bit like 21 sleeps to Christmas before we hear the announcement. I'm sure whatever is announced by Mark will be of benefit to the club and will be gratefully received by the board and the fans alike.
However, not sure how Peter can say it's ' the best news I've seen in ages for Albion Rovers' when we don't know what the news is yet!!!
Anyway if I had 3 wishes.....!

Wish 1 - Messi Wish 2 - Supporters back at Cliftonhill Wish 3 - Some way to watch the Rovers before crowds are allowed back in
Mildrover, good luck with trying to work out what Peter is talking about, the rest of us and the CIA gave up long ago.

Maybe place for a separate 3 wishes thread Nanook, as I wouldn't want to deflect from what will be a major announcement from Mark to the benefit of the club.

From The Herald Diary:
Green for go..al
GLASGOW based comic-book writer and Hollywood mover-and-shaker Mark Millar is in talks with Albion Rovers and promises exciting news about his favourite footy club soon.
Readers of the Diary are used to our exclusives so won’t be surprised that we’ve already rumbled Mark’s top secret plan.
Using his movie-making contacts he’s procured the services of Avengers super-grump the Hulk to play in goal for Rovers.
(He doesn’t save many. But, boy, we wouldn’t advise blasting one past him.)

From the Record website:
Coatbridge comic book legend Mark Millar has backed with a big money investment Albion Rovers secret talks with the League Two side.
The Kick-Ass creator today revealed an £18K influx to his local side today that will allow fans to watch games from home.
The Pixelot system is now in place at Cliftonhill after weeks of teasing announcements on social media.
Thanks to the efforts of Millar, along with the SFA, punters will be able to watch games with potential for commentary online.
Punters will be able to pay their ticket price to stream the fixtures starting with Stenhousemuir at home to help the club survive without gate money.
There will be a test event of the new system for the first friendly of pre-season against Dumbarton.
Millar has been a long-term supporter of The Wee Rovers and regularly attends home games.
Millar, who has committed to funding the system for three years, said at Cliftonhill today: "When it came to Covid and the future of Rovers I was a bit nervous, all clubs are really going to struggle.

A wee bit underwhelming given the build-up and ensuing hysteria from some quarters.
