A simple club statement along the lines of: following the postponement of our last two games due to a significant (and unprecedented) COVID outbreak at ARFC, the health authorities have given us the go-ahead to play against Stirling? Advertising the next game as if nothing has happened and without any player/staff fitness update doesn’t quite do it for me, Jaydee. Well perhaps the players/staff involved have asked not to be named, and I feel the club shouldn’t be naming people involved having watched some of the vitriol dished out to players in the Premiership who were named. We are almost at full strength with a couple of players/staff still self isolating for various reasons.

Need a positive 2nd half here particularly with Brechin drawing.

Wish I was there to give this ref pelters. So biased.

A good performance from the Rovers.
Think the ref needs to look at the rule book again.
Reid is building a team here.

Bad luck today, looks like we played well in this game, need to stop letting in early goals.

Stirling Albion world class at time wasting, is there an award for that?

Gave a good account - thought we were more positive and into their faces in the first half. Under the cosh a bit at the start of the second for a spell but were still coping well - more composure needed which should come through time. We need a bit of creativity and be clinical when pushing forward - but you often find that the breaks don't come when you are looking for them when you are at the bottom half of the league. Still ahead of Brechin which may be our mantra until the end of the season

Stirling Albion world class at time wasting, is there an award for that? Yeah, 3 points! Played well enough but just don't have anything up front. Defensively harum scarum as usual but survived. Ref was shocking. Commentary brilliant.

Very unlucky; decent performance. Keep the faith; we ain't far away, and the supposedly big-spending super glamour Stirling were really there for the beating. Keep going!!!!

Could possibly have snatched a point but could also have conceded 3 in the early second half.
On a positive it shows there's not a lot between several teams in the lower part of the league.

Agree with the post match comments. Thought we played pretty well today and deserved at least a point. Defence did look a bit panicky on a number of occasions though. Some of the Stirling player's tactics to con the referee were extremely annoying. Brechin got thumped again so no ground lost 😀

The way this season is going a 1-0 defeat at home to Stirling doesn't really seem too bad. As in recent seasons it looks like we are just hoping that there is one team in the division worse than us.

You're probably right but is it acceptable that's what we have to look forward to? To more or less repeat the brogan experiment and expect a different result is bordering on madness.
