I think you have completely missed my point but I’m not surprised at that...
I will post positively when there is something positive to post about, right now, there isn’t anything positive regarding the position in the league, the standard of football on show, the managers comments and/or the lack of communication from our chairman.

No, I haven’t missed your point. Unlike you who has attempted to misquote me and accuse me of speaking out of turn. You won’t post when there is something positive to post about, you’ll go missing until the first opportunity to have a pop arises. If that’s what makes you happy then “batter in” 👍🏼

I post in here for what I see fit, whether that’s positive or negative that’s my choice as a paying customer/support of the club for a long time. If I was an employee I wouldn’t be getting involved.

Everyone misses your points Paul. Maybe you should run for parliament as you have the right answer for everything, dodge questions left right and centre and continually mis quote. Oh if only you were the manager......

We are rank rotten, let’s be honest. The lack of ambition is sickening and the whole ‘as long as Brechin are worse’ mindset makes me seriously worry about the future of ARFC in the SPFL. Have a look at the leagues ‘below’ us - they’re full to the brim with teams that are desperate to make the step up and I really wouldn’t fancy our chances over 90 minutes against a number of them. We’re toothless and at real risk of disappearing for good in the next few years. Reid, in my view, has made a complete ar*e of himself twice now and, as a result, generated some truly awful PR to the club...which is already a wounded animal. You know it’s bad when the club physio feels the need to defend almost every single decision both on and off the park, ex-Board members remain completely neutral and unwilling to speak up, and a current squad member’s parent is liking posts suggesting the Manager should go. I’m from the East End of Glasgow, rovers, and Parkhead is actually quite handy for me! Strange dig that I’m completely unoffended and quite baffled by. J. ’rank rotten’ ‘lack of ambition ‘ etc etc. Apart from the unrelenting negativity of these comments, what I find disappointing is the lack of recognition of the huge efforts by many behind the scenes, on and off the park, to keep the club going in difficult circumstances and for little or no payment. Also it would be refreshing to hear your ideas on taking the club forward. Lastly, if you or others have direct questions for the club list them here and I’m sure they will be answered. And really lastly, not a massive turnout in the poll but I think even the bold DT wouldn’t challenge that result. Ronnie

The efforts of those behind the scenes Is recognised but has nothing to do with the manager, his comments and his record. That is a distraction. We are dreadful and his comments are reprehensible and damages all the good work that is done. And one thing to remember is this. The fans making these comments are the same people that buy full price season tickets, didn't want refunds for last year, gave to the just giving page (and for one fan organised it), entered the rovers lotto for a year and the hamper raffle. That's called putting your money where your mouth is and if it's being pissed up against the wall then forgive me for giving a damn and saying something. As for ideas to move the club forward many of the ideas above came from fans on this very forum. Any ideas or comments or anything at all from the club and particularly the chairman?

It’s true, though, Ronnie. We are a club devoid of ambition. Obviously there’s a lack of investment, granted, but it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be able to hold our own. During Paul Martin’s tenure at the club, we sold a vision to the playing staff and, despite the lack of budget, punched above our weight time and time again - that’s how it’s always been.
Since? Basement boys elect Young’s league winners aside with clear financial clout. All started with Brogan (pass the buck on that) and too many changes in the boardroom. I ask questions of the club and BoD all the time. No member of the BoD comes on here to answer. Do you believe, Ronnie, that it’s acceptable to ignore Mr Reid’s comments without a reply from those at the helm? The virus has hit close to home and directly impacted on a man who gives a lot to the club.
As for the volunteer point, aye, bravo! We all appreciate your work. But it’s the same up and down the country for every club in the lower divisions. My JustGiving page was a huge success and, quite shockingly, I’ve never actually received a formal thanks for the club. I don’t seek thanks, to clarify, but would expect that as a matter of course. There’s issues at the helm, huge issues, and we’re in serious trouble if they’re not addressed soon.

There’s issues at the helm, huge issues, and we’re in serious trouble if they’re not addressed soon. -The lowland leagues often referred to backed by wealthy owners, some not even fans. How long will they hang around, as long as Rovers, think not. -Paul Martin, 8 years ago, move on. -Healthy to ask questions of club and board however constant criticism from so called fans and lack of ideas (apart from your justgiving effort) don't really help. Put them in writing or raise them at agm. - Not sure of other clubs forums however believe vast majority of boards would not engage in slanging matches on the internet. -Comments easily rectified by small bit of PR and an apology or clarification. Don't believe it's as big a deal as you make out otherwise all the other covid stories would be on the back burner. Not the case. -Did you actually want thanks or was it done for your genuine love of the club. As a fan I thank you, it was a tremendous effort. Pretty certain the board or representative of the board did make comment on one media platform. I'd need to research that to confirm. - I believe the board, management and playing staff are doing all they can with the resource available. Bear in mind no income, wealthy benefactor or knight in shining armour on the horizon. - Terrible year for all, not just in football. For me a few more games prior to rash decisions, now is certainly not the time. Only my observations of course. Keep the faith for now, tis the season of goodwill to all men.......and women, it is the 21st century.

Any good ideas? Yeah don't call us so called fans, get rid of Reid, don't waste player budget repeating previous disasters and get the chairman to do a wee bit of PR. About anything. Good night and sweet dreams! 🤐

I do feel that Brians personal opinion in the media on Covid when representing the club rather unfortunate. Our Hospital is currently littered with examples of why every precaution has to be taken. I assume his appointment as manager took his medical experience into account also.
Entitled to his own personal opinion, but wish he'd focus the football problems at our club at this time.
It is on the football side of things that should determine his fate as manager not this latest cringing comments to the media.
Last game saw some positives but it is points on the board that count. As better managers than Brian Reid have found out!
