The efforts of those behind the scenes Is recognised but has nothing to do with the manager, his comments and his record. That is a distraction. We are dreadful and his comments are reprehensible and damages all the good work that is done. And one thing to remember is this. The fans making these comments are the same people that buy full price season tickets, didn't want refunds for last year, gave to the just giving page (and for one fan organised it), entered the rovers lotto for a year and the hamper raffle. That's called putting your money where your mouth is and if it's being pissed up against the wall then forgive me for giving a damn and saying something. As for ideas to move the club forward many of the ideas above came from fans on this very forum. Any ideas or comments or anything at all from the club and particularly the chairman? Totally agree Jimbo. When I was talking about the huge amount of effort that goes on behind the scenes to keep the club going I was including the brilliant actions by fans like the ones you refer to. I have always recognised the support given to the club by the fans in a variety of ways over many years. Without these the club wouldn't be there : whether it is through financial help or volunteering or both. Ronnie

Spoke to my mum on the phone earlier this evening(obviously over the age of 70) & she agreed that Brian's comments were utterly wrong/stupid.

Ronnie Perhaps but the posts show a justified dissatisfaction with the situation and only a run of decent results will change that. Seems unlikely though.

Neil Lennon's press conference tonight made our manager sound completely reasonable! š¬

It really is pretty sensational what has happened. Great work from the manager and everyone at the club to achieve what we have, considering our rotten start. Amazing performance today: the whole team, once again, played superbly. YAAASSSSSS!!!!!

Has grafted well over the last few difficult months to mould this team together - great credit is due to him and his backroom staff for where we now are.

Brilliant turnaround in fortunes up there with Mr Harper. Also good over last few weeks seeing the profiteers of doom giving deserved credit. Still 4 games to go to perhaps lay some tentative foundations for next year. Hopefully with fans.š¤š¤

I didnāt participate in this poll but it should be said the manager was skating on thin ice particularly after the cup exit to Buckie. Not that there was any danger of him being sacked - we are simply not a sacking club .
But you have to give credit to him he has absolutely nailed the recruitment during lockdown. The players deserve even more credit. All of them have had a major impact (I think Coxy has picked up a bad injury) - and you have to hand it to those other players who have been with us all season who have stepped up in this recent spell especially Lewis Wilson the guy has been a revelation. You almost donāt want this season to end which is crazy.
In short we are playing with confidence and have a terrific blend of youth and experience- that is the key. Even the managerās interviews are ten times better so it all goes hand in hand. I really hope the penny has dropped with the Board just like you canāt compete with a team of 3rd and 4th tier juniors - you canāt turn out a team of U-21ās and expect to be any other place but bear the bottom. Itās a tough gig at Rovers we all know that - but hereās to better things.
