Great goal. Live would have been better. Well get up on the hill next time. Socially distanced off course. I don't like the live stream as Mossie is screaming GOALLLL seconds before the player hits the ball. Not Mossies fault but a technical glitch. And who are all the adult ball boys? I would hope they're volunteers and not costing the club much needed money. Most of the regulars would be more than happy to do this. And I did retract my SACK THE BOARD CHANT FROM THE HILL once the 3rd goal went in 😁😁 Peter If the shouts from the “ballboys” are anything to go by they should be paying the club, normally Saturday at the football for them 😂😂

Excellent result today...and not at all expected!
You’d think reading some of the offerings on here, though, that we’d won the Champions League never mind the SPFL2.
I know it could be a crucially important victory, and I appreciate we’ve all been waiting some time for it, but get your feet back on the ground, folks. A long season lies ahead and we need to be consistent.
I recall after the victory at Annan lots of folk on here were gathered around a very soggy biscuit...and look what happened next.
Enjoy the victory, applaud the effort & achievement. But (and that’s a huge but) strap yourselves in because Brechin & Cowdenbeath will be taking note.

How did the keeper play ? He actually didn't have a massive amount to do. He looked like he was crowded out for the goal as there were several players right on top of him. That didn't seem to put him off and he handled a few crosses and corners well plus distribution was good.

The keeper had a great save in the first half when he touched it on to the post, the ref missed it and gave a goal kick and Peter i was one of the overaged ballboys and I'm a season ticket holder so I cost the club nothing and Jaydee maybe the players should be as vocal as we were

I wasn’t having a go, as you will be aware I’m as guilty, if not more so in terms of shouting. I was trying to point out to Peter that it was ‘regulars’ and ‘Vers fans that were volunteering to do the ball duties, perhaps I should have been clearer instead of making a joke about it. 👍🏼

A well deserved victory. Great team effort with some excellent individual performances too. We fought back well and should have had a penalty. Thought we showed tenacity, resilience and skill against a team who were sitting second top.
Just a few points from other posts. No one is getting carried away Jordie but it is still the right thing to do to celebrate a win and recognise a great performance. We haven't turned the corner but we can at least see it now.
Thought goalkeeper had excellent game and seemed confident. The defence in front of him worked well at cutting down his work.
The adult volunteers were standing in for the younger ones due to them not being able to manage today. The volunteers are season ticket holders who worked nearly every Saturday during the prolonged close season to keep the ground ship shape.
This result gives the team confidence and also puts pressure on Cowdenbeath and Brechin and will have a few others looking over their shoulders too.

A well-deserved three points, all fought very hard to get them. Penalty claim at 0-0 looked as "stonewall" as you will see, so going behind was a bit of a sickener, but heads didn't go down at any point. Ref was rather card-happy, but Lewis could have no complaint even though his second yellow was clumsy rather than malicious - his overall performance was otherwise excellent. Aitken is clearly our greatest asset at the moment, but young Moore's cracker capped a great display in his brief appearance and settled the nerves wonderfully. Onwards and (with a few breaks) upwards!

Great result today and good commentary again also. I thought Brian Kerr was going to talk rubbish but credit to him as he was a lot more honest than I predicted. Pixellot wasn't as good today, buffered too much and was shouting for it to move a couple of times when it wouldn't keep up with play. A welcome 3 points makes up for it though.

As it stands we are 7th out of ten. Let's keep it going. We will prevail. Mon the vers
