The score certainly doesn’t flatter us as I thought we were the better team throughout. Considering they got humped last week I doubt many of us thought dominating a team 2nd top this week was on the cards so well done to them and the manager for working on what let them down last week. Agreed that one swallow doesn’t make a summer but the performance certainly proves that they aren’t that far behind the majority of teams.
Regarding the streaming service, The Pixalot system is still in its infancy regarding the footie so I hope they can at least iron out the deficiency of not following the flow of the game at times, ie our 2nd goal.
Ps Am I the only one that automatically expects a replay of a goal when it’s scored. Only to realise sadly that I shouldn’t have taken my eyes of the game to see what was happening out the living room window !!

Some fair and accurate posts. I really do hope we can build on this. Could still do with someone experienced in central defence, preferably 6ft something. Appreciate that pixellot is a new system but missing goals as it stops panning to the ends of the pitch is a strange one. Missing the last goal was a separate issue caused by buffering which is possibly a matter of inadequate broadband in Coatbridge. As someone working from home despite having super fast broadband issues do crop up from time to time. Frustrating.

The system allows you to go back and drop out from live. We did that s few times yesterday to see key moments ie penalty shout and goals. The band at the bottom of the screen lets you move it backwards then you select live again or do it at ht and not miss the live feed

Indeed you can scroll back but it's far from user friendly I find!

Well get up on the hill next time. Socially distanced off course. I don't like the live stream as Mossie is screaming GOALLLL seconds before the player hits the ball. Not Mossies fault but a technical glitch. And who are all the adult ball boys? I would hope they're volunteers and not costing the club much needed money. Most of the regulars would be more than happy to do this. And I did retract my SACK THE BOARD CHANT FROM THE HILL once the 3rd goal went in 😁😁 Peter What happens if we all decide to congregate and watch the game over the Hill. Being a tier 3 area police would as you all to move and have the powers to issue an on the spot fine Also as has been seen at other clubs in scotland this season (morton in perticular) police have threatened to stop home matches being played in order to stop crowds forming to watch them, their fans were standing on the hill qt the car park, stirling albion were also issued a fine due to fans lighting flares outside the ground

Cheers Chris it was a rhetorical question. I would love it if Nicola turned up wagging her finger at Peter’s irresponsibility 🤣🤣

On a day when stewmelrover was able to carry his bat aloft to the pavilion that has to be out best result of the season for me.
I never saw that coming in a million years and if Elgin underestimated us then that's their fault.
Let's hope it's a catalyst for better things to come.
Has Prof mentioned the Play Off's yet ? Asking for me.

I think you are starting to become addicted to the poetry and beauty of cricket, Mr. J. Donnelly, esq. The Rovers' goals on Saturday were like the finest moments of any cricket match for sure.

I'm not immune to the lure of the thwack of leather against willow but let's call it for what it is.
A passtime, not a sport, that gets you out of the house for 6 hours on a lovely sunny day with no questions asked.

About 9 hours if you include the 'after-match discussions' with team-mates and opponents in the nearest pub. What's not to like, huh?!

Well I decided to go up on the hill. Best afternoon's entertainment in years. With the leaves away we saw all of the goals. Brilliant display by all the players. Well done gaffer. You deserved that one. Onwards and upwards. Peter We cant see you on the hill, but we can hear you.Was it you giving the referee plenty of stick?
