A win on Saturday could be just the springboard we need to turn things around, and would at least give us another cup match.
Dangerous stuff Roy. Optimism tinged with hope. I trust you have been reported to the moderator for this unforgivable outburst.
What, exactly, is there to be optimistic about? Seriously? We’re sitting second bottom of League 2, are nowhere near consistent, shipping 4+ goals in a single half, our Manager is making bizarre team selections/subs amidst ghastly media interviews. We’re only ‘hopeful’ of survival because one team is just as bad. Brogan (the most ill-fated appointment in our club’s recent history) was given his jotters after our cup exit. Surely, if Buckie take us out, Reid has to go, too?
Whatever is said about the manager let’s get one thing clear - some fans might be viewed as too negative because they may not be keen on the manager but we still support the boys and want them to do well.
Serious question-how long can the “at least Brechin got beat “ narrative hold?
I see Brechin drew 0-0 with Annan tonight and getting their first clean sheet under their belt albeit against Annan who haven’t been setting the heather on fire. Brechin still bottom by 2 points and we have a game in hand.
