Wouldn't have mattered if you'd inspected it at a minute to three. Not a chance of it going ahead. One look at my back garden where even the birds have got ice axes to get at the bird seed! 🥶

Why such an early inspection, it's almost a derby so could have been held later, surely, to allow the pitch to thaw somewhat. Not like they have hours of travelling is it There's always one ! ha ha.

Just on another point about conditions,
Todays game with stenhousemuir v stirling has been abandoned at half time due to underfoot conditions at ochilview
Match was due to be played at forthbank but as switched as conditions were so bad there

Just on another point about conditions, Todays game with stenhousemuir v stirling has been abandoned at half time due to underfoot conditions at ochilview Match was due to be played at forthbank but as switched as conditions were so bad there Didn’t even make it to half time, 30 mins were played and there was a lengthy break in play as one of the Stenny players was being treated after colliding with one of his own players. He was unconscious, but is awake now and was taken to Forth Valley. During the break the officials decided one area of the park in particular was “dangerous underfoot”.

Wouldn't fancy playing on any pitch today. If there's no undersoil heating pitches will be rock hard, icy and rutted. Too dangerous in the lower leagues.
