Have they definitely cashed the cheque? If not, I'll look after it😂 I'm sure there will be a formal recognition of your efforts once we are all back at Cliftonhill. I hear Gerry and his drumkit has been booked for the after buffet entertainment.

Peter I’m not - and never have been - remotely interested in ‘formal recognition’, but it would have been a nice touch if something official came from the club. Says a lot about the lack of professionalism and class in the Boardroom at the moment, in my opinion. This situation is piss poor. When was the last time we heard from those at the helm? Did we expect an apology and a promise to address the issues after our untimely cup exit at the hands of Buckie? I’d have thought so. Would a short update on club finances/direction of travel be welcome? Most certainly. Why the silence? It’s becoming almost deafening. Pathetic.

Jordie. You need to calm down. I would bet we are in a much better state than most clubs in the lower divisions. Have faith. You'd think Messrs Fagan and Dick were running things with all your pessimism.
My crystal ball tells me.... Rovers to win the league next season just after Anas Sarwar leads Scottish Labour to power in the Scottish Election held 9 months late due to the pandemic.
Just a few months after Connor Shields returns as player manager 🙏

Do think the club should have made a thank you to Jordie. The behaviour of those in charge is a bit bizarre these days but you have the respect of all the fans at least and the backing of this one. My concern and comments come from the heart and my passion for the Vers and I'm sure everyone else is the same. These are crap times. Don't let them get to you. 👍

Agreed that it is poor PR that the club haven’t recognised the efforts of what Jordan and young Ben acheived, but it’s not to late for them to do something.
As for another Just Giving page, yeh I’d be up for it Jordan. Just haven’t visited this page for a few days. Regarding the lottery, would it be possible to be told just how many folk are taking part in it and how much we are pulling in. Doesn’t need to be an exact figure just that it’s enough to help out the club on a decent basis. Running the one for our grassroots club I’m aware that folk will sign up for the first few weeks then drop off due to lack of interest but you still need to promote the £1K plus jackpot.

The weekly jackpot is advertised almost daily on the clubs twitter. I remember the club thanking both Jordan and Ben for their crowd funding efforts but maybe I am misremembering.

Honestly. How many seconds would it have taken for a Club Official to message Jordie and say 'thanks'
It's often banded about that Rovers area Community Club yet when when we have a fan from our own Community raising cash for the Club at such a critical time all we are met with is silence ?
It really does make you wonder if the total indifference by the BOD to such a magnificent fundraiser is indicative of their attitude to the fans and the Club in general.

I retweet the info about the lottery every few days so it is certainly out there. I remember reading on forum and/ or social media a thanks from the club’s spokesperson Charlieboy for Ben and Jordan’s brilliant efforts to boost the club’s finances in these challenging times. But certainly no harm in saying it again as it was such an amazing effort by Jordie and Ben and all who contributed. Ronnie

I don’t use Twitter, so didn’t see the posts. Nice to see I was thanked, but that’s more on behalf of the social media team, no? Not that I’m remotely bothered, but doesn’t look like a thank you from anyone on the BoD. Hey-ho!
