Haven't heard anything one way or another but will assume as current restrictions have been extended to mid February that it includes no lower league football. ☹️ If that’s the case then I can see the season changing to 18 games, playing each team once at home and once away. They will struggle to get any more games in unless the season gets extended.

In all honesty I expect the plug to be pulled on this season.I cannot see it being played to even a shorter conclusion.

If there is no football until February then surely that's the season done.
The SPFL can't agree what the weather is like so for them to agree a shorter season, halfway through an already shortened one, is pie in the sky stuff.

End of season highly likely. As this has been forced on the clubs by government and not been voluntary the lower league clubs deserve further recompense. Included in that should be compensation for season ticket holders. I won't hold my breath though! 😶

After a meeting with health minister Freeman. Don't think they had an option somehow! 🤔

Depressing stuff but, with the vaccine programme being rolled out, hopefully we’ll see football restarted in the late Spring/Summer.
Has there still been no official comment from the BoD about the shutdown? Would like to hear from the Chairman about how this will impact on the Rovers. Not expecting an in-depth analysis, but some reassuring words wouldn’t go amiss...
Stenny’s Chairman has been fantastic throughout and is a wonderful advocate for the lower leagues.

The chairman who should be leading the club through this has been nothing but silent since he took over unfortunately.
Colin seems to be the guy talking to the press

From Rahman Bhardwaj of STV:
All 20 lower league clubs have written to the football authorities requesting the resumption of league 1 and league 2 - saying they will test for covid
A March restart is envisaged!

Good to see the 20 clubs working as one over this issue and being proactive. However, their proposals will be influenced by the Covid-19 figures and the Scottish Government’s reaction to them. Ronnie

Good stuff. Be interesting to see the reaction from the authorities. Not suggesting there could be any agenda or anything like that... 🤐

A good update from the club secretary and a great decision by the club to make up player and staff wages to the full amount. Something the club doesn’t have to do but an excellent gesture in these difficult times and one I’m sure that will be appreciated by the manager, staff and players. Ronnie

Ronnie Not so great if you don’t happen to read the Daily Record, but yes, good to hear from a club official.
