Indeed Bill, the Advertiser/Daily Record who are all the same bunch these days shouldn't be the only communication source when they have a website, social media and this message board to disseminate information.

Come on, is this really good enough? We’re not asking for the world, far from it, but it would be quite nice to hear something official on here or the club website (which was last updated about 11 days ago) from the BoD.
The fact that we’re still waiting says it all really. Colin speaking to a newspaper just doesn’t cut it for me. Who, genuinely, thinks this is acceptable?

Not acceptable or good enough. All a bit strange. Maybe got an exclusive deal with the Daily Ridiculous/Airdrie Advertiser! 🤔

I see the SPFL lockdown for the first and second division has been extended until midnight on the 14th February.

As far as lack of communication goes I’m not sure what Jordan means. I had a look at official club website and there have been 10 posts giving news updates in the last month. Ronnie

Ronnie Ronnie, If Lotto results and a few lines re: transfers in and out of the club is classed as good information and communication, I despair. That’s the basics. Any club worth its salt has to get that right. Doesn’t hide the fact that we’ve got a faceless Chairman who has said pretty much nothing since this all kicked-off...bar a photo opportunity amidst Mark Millar’s Pixellot jamboree. The fans (I would think) deserve better. Since my post (which you quote), the club has issued the most information laden press releases in quite some time - all within the space of a week and all before an AGM. Make of that what you will. Jordan.

Make of that what you will? I'm sure they will Jordie! 🙄 Good piece by the Airdrie DOF in the local rag this week where among other things he asks why wasn't testing considered before they shut down our leagues? Why indeed and why does it seem to have fallen on deaf ears?

If he speaks his mind in the boardroom as he does on this forum then it is a step in the right direction. I just hope he does not get too involved in boardroom politics.

Seeing as we're up to the proverbials in snow they'll probably announce the resumption of lower league football from today! 🤭

Suspension of football to continue till at least 1st March

Suspension of football to continue till at least 1st March That would mean the first match around the middle of March at the earliest. With every passing deadline, it starts to look like the season ending without further games is becoming more likely. Ronnie

I can see an email coming shortly from the SPFL to ask member clubs to vote on an 18 game season. I think that is the only reasonable chance to get anywhere near seeing a return to football this season. Failing that I think we can say goodbye to the season. Even starting as a best case scenario on 15th March, if going on the 27 games we’d be playing Monday, Wednesday and Saturday between 14/03 and end of April.
