A well deserved victory. We grafted for everything today and were in their faces from the very start. Every player played their part in that but I want to single out 2 players for their performance today. Harry Stone breeds confidence, with him in goals will be massive for the team. The confidence he will give to the defenders will be vital. Lewis Kidd was my MOTM, thought he was a step ahead of every player. Constantly looking for the ball, passing and moving Etc. Looks like he will be a vital player for us.
Now to carry this performance onto the next game.

Would have been happy with a point but over the moon with three. Just made my weekend rovers, fantastic result, table looks a tad healthier tonight.

I'd been saying over the last three matches that we were starting to look the part and could get ourselves further up the table. Well done gaffer and the backroom staff. Praise where praise is due. Oh I'd love to have seen Donald Findlay after the match 😂 Onwards and upwards. Enjoy your night tonight boys. You deserve it. Also, where are the historians. What do we pay the players when they win?
Only kidding.

Huge 3 points well done to the lads , we’re not quite out the mess yet. Probably the biggest positive is our first clean sheet of the season - that’s the standard we have to maintain from now on in . There’s only one team that well get us out our current predicament and that’s ourselves.

It was a deserved three points for Rovers and feels great to be able to say that.
Cowdenbeath huffed and puffed but I felt relatively comfortable all day and that starts from the calming influence of Stone in goal. He is a top keeper for this level and made two important saves look absolutely routine, one in each half.
I thought the left side partnership looked great with Sideserf (I believe, the new guy?) and Ecrepont linking up well and I think that left midfield role suits Ecrepont well and his desire to get forward whenever he can.
Midfield area looked much stronger today too, even in spells of decent Cowdenbeath possession the shape was compact and difficult to play through.
Credit to the manager too, the last few games the team looks more resolute and his signings seem to have had the right impact.
Onwards and upwards!

Working today so couldn’t keep up with the score as well as the LiveScore App not having the Rovers game listed. A very important win as it gives us some breathing space at the bottom and hopefully some much needed confidence.
Well Done guys.

Echo PaulRovers comments, would also add young Alfie Robinson in amongst the standout performers. He only learned 15 mins before kick off he was starting due to an injury picked up in the warm up to Gowser and I thought he was calm and assured at the back for the most part and looked comfortable on the ball too. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

So much more control in our performance today, you can see why Lewis Kidd was playing way above this level of football.
Echo JD's point - it must have been 2.45ish when Alfie was told he'd be playing and he put in a great shift. We also lost Sam early on as well due to injury.
Harry Stone will be at a bigger club than us next season, he made a couple of great saves and punches away/kick outs were top class.
Lewis Wilson was brilliant when he came on also, looked like a reinvigorated player far down the left side which was nice to see, he's not had the best of times for a wee while now - but he's stuck by the club when others have moved on at the first opportunity so fair play to him.

Defence was excellent today, we didn't look like scoring other than Ecrepont's missed sitter but a great 3 points. Three games in the next 10 days including Cowden and Brechin: a couple of decent performances could nail it for us.

Fantastic result.I reckon we are only 1 win away from The Prof mentioning us as promotion play off contenders.

Now you mention it, Tommy, if we won all the rest of our games and depending on all the other results, we could just about make the top 5!
OK, there one or two if, buts and maybes in there, buy why not aim for the top?
I also reckon we are about 9 points away from the other play off issue.
