Yes, there's nothing really at stake regarding progression in the League Cup for the MIGHTY Rovers tomorrow however thought I'd get this started anyway. As we've absolutely nothing to lose and with the beginning of our 2nd League 1 Campaign close on the horizon I reckon we'll give it a real go tomorrow. Would love to see us hold them to a draw and disappoint their BIG support C'MON THE 'VERS

result means nothing really, hoping we can put a performance in that both the fans and players can be proud of

Can't quite remember but might be a good couple of grand difference if we can sneak a win

Can't quite remember but might be a good couple of grand difference if we can sneak a win Fifth-placed teams will each get £15,000 fourth-placed clubs will each receive £17,000 third-placed sides will each get £19,000. The four worst runners-up will each be handed £23,000. Rovers could get the £23,000 with a win, Killie zero goal difference, Rovers on -1, so any Rovers win takes us up to 6 points same as Killie and the goal differences turn round. Unfortunately, too many other sides in 2nd place with too many points already so no chance of qualifying. K 0-1 AR would be my hope.

We were absolutely brilliant today to a man - you would have thought we were the Premiership team.We had 55% possession over the whole game.We looked composed, and a tight unit.Well done guys!.

No wonder Josh Magennis missed his penalty, he spent the preceding ninety minutes in the back pocket of Ross Dunlop.
You'll have to explain to me why the goal was chalked off, but it was a good performance from Rovers today - the best game Ross Davidson has had I'm a long time IMO, him and Fisher looked a very potent pairing this afternoon.
Just need to get a few more attempts on goal - plus ca change - and it might be a good season. Just hope Ross Stewart didn't hurt himself too badly during the shoot-out.

Gutted the boys didn't get the result in the 90 minutes that their performance deserved, but at least the penalty kicks went our way this time, thought we were superb to a man and it was a a well deserved win

Just arrived home after being there !! what a great performance - to a man we were brilliant and should have had the 3 points from , what I saw, a perfectly good goal from Ryan Wallace chalked off. The ref was good otherwise , as Killie players seemed hell bent on falling over every time challenged by a rovers player, but Bobby Madden was not hoodwinked. The bandwagon continues to roll on - the last 3 years have been phenomenal - all the signs are there for a good season - the whole Albion Rovers family should feel proud
