Can’t see anywhere paulrovers where anyone has blamed the brigada. I’ve spoken to a number of fans about the return of the brigada. What they all say is that they are worried about anything that might jeopardise the great reputation we have of a welcoming, community and friendly club which is commented on by people who come for matches or visit at other times. Also they say why do people need a title. Why not just come as we all do, as Rovers fans. Ronnie Ronnie if they want a name then what harm is it? Does it really cause concern that they want to be Albion rovers supporters group Brigada. As I’ve said previously if they ruin it and cause issue they ruin it for themselves. If you look at every team who have a young fans group they all have a name now. Leave them to it rather than try to force them away. It’s almost as if people within our supporters don’t want them as it will take the attention from them being ‘Mr or Mrs Albion Rovers’. I can confirm that no CB members were there were stand at the hill wee do not go over to the fence that is wee boys in bikes they are like 12/13

I am not part of this brigada thing or have any allegiance to them but I have watched a few games from the hill where the team have stood. The boys who have been pulling down the sign are the younger guys who come up on their bikes. There is about 12 or so of them who come up on their bikes and all roughly 14/15/16 years old. It’s seems easy for everyone to blame the brigada boys as they are easy targets now, but, from what I have seen it is not them. The Cowdenbeath game the other week, there were 3 Cowdenbeath fans at the left hand side of the sign and they pulled down part of it so they could see.... Ronnie hey ronnie a few things i would like to address the first being the group name (the reason behind a name is a scene that all fan bases that have some sort of signing section run under a group name its not any disrespect to the club or the fans its just a thing that happens he second thing is we get a lot of the older fans are worried about the past behaviour of the group but we want to right those wrongs and show we are there for the club the team and the fans my third and final part is when over the last number of weeks we have stood at the hill cheering the team on rain and sun, yesterday the lads stood out for 90+ mins chanting the songs and egging the team on in the horrible weather when you were in the stadium commentating, we also have many charity ideas planned as well as helping with stadium improvements and supporting players where they are needed

This group are governed by the same rules, laws and regulations of every single fan that goes through the paying gate.
They are therefore entitled to say, sing or support the team in whatever way they wish.
I, for one, am delighted to see a fresh injection of fans, enthusiasm and much needed cash to the club. Indeed hopefully it picks up and they encourage more people from Coatbridge, instead of jumping on the M8 and heading West, to join the Brigada, attending games.
The notion of assisting the club at the stadium, charity ideas and player support show these guys (and mibes girls) have the club at the centre of everything. Bring it on, I look forward to getting back to Cliftonhill someday and seeing them in action.
You have my full support folks as long as you're supporting the team and swelling fan numbers.

You appear to want to be at our ground for all the right reasons, CB82. As far as I'm concerned, welcome to you and I hope many more like you.

You have used that phrase before Paul about people seeing themselves as ‘Mr and Mrs Albion Rovers’. One of the great things about the Rovers is we don’t have anyone like that. Don’t know where you get that from. Ronnie

I can't wait for next season when we can welcome the 30 or so young supporters who have cheered the team on for many weeks now. The fact the Brigada wing of the fans created and supported David Cox last Saturday was a great gesture. New blood is the future for Albion Rovers. Let's welcome them with open arms. Yes they'll make mistakes but who doesn't.
