What was Mystic Sam’s prediction for where we would finish?

It certainly wasn’t a case of Cliftonhill for thrills last night as both teams kept it very tight. Obviously a point suits both of them considering the position Brechin find themselves in. Stones looks very assured for a young keeper and certainly provides confidence to a defence that is beginning to look like a decent unit.
On to Saturday now and with their recent upturn in form you wouldn’t be surprised if they came back down the road with full points

Apologies to Ben, should have realised Mossie could not be so coherent!

A clean sheet is not to be sniffed at . Wasn’t a lot of clear cut chances last night but we are no longer the soft touches from a few months ago

What was Mystic Sam’s prediction for where we would finish? It was more of a theory than a prediction that could have seen us grab 5th pre split. - Unfortunately impossible now. Positive from last night was we have been in a lot of drab even games this season and lost so it was good to get a solid point and also deny Cowden a win in the process. We are now 10 points ahead of bottom with 18 points to play for. We could be safe this time next week if we get three more points than Brechin from our next two games. Even we were to just match them for the next three then again we are safe ( there is the possibility that third game is against them depending on the split fixtures) As much as i don't want to be looking down I'm waiting for that day we are mathematically safe and concentrate on the battle for 6th place post split !
