I recently bought this retro top from world-retro.com/ . The 1972-74 Albion Rovers home top (no frills of badges and emblems back then) . I emailed them the picture- they designed it - cost £35 inc post (includes names or numbers on the back also) - was delivered in 4 weeks. Quality is very good and service was excellent. The owner (Swiss based) asked if I was officially connected to the club. They have teamed up with Arbroath and Stenny and brought out a few shirts which means the clubs get something back from each sale. I guess my question is - 1. Is there a market out there for Rovers retro tops 2. Is this something the club has been looking at - it means the club would get something back from the sales.

I love the ones on Toffs. But don't know if the club gets anything on them. Love this one also.

I love the ones on Toffs. But don't know if the club gets anything on them. Love this one also. I’m not sure if Rovers get anything back from the Toffs replica jerseys. There is another company Dunnottar retro who produce the Tunnocks retro jersey, Umbro one from 1987 and the Admiral from late 70’s. I’m pretty sure the club doesn’t get anything back from those sales- the tops are ok , the badge has been re-jigged for copyright. The biggest downfall is it’s about 3-4 months for delivery.

Got a top from Dunnotar, delivery took forever, love the look of the Toffs shirt. If the club were to do anything, in regards to retro shirts, I would definitely be interested

If the club were to do anything, in regards to retro shirts, I would definitely be interested If the club went hand in hand with World retro they would get something back from each sale, but maybe the club is happy for other companies to issue retro tops and pocket the cash. A retro re-issue of the late 70’s early 80’s Admiral tracksuit top would sell IMHO

Someone involved with the club should tie in with a 'retro' strip issuer so that the club gets some benefit.
My personal favourite strip is the, as I remember it, bright yellow body, white arms, yellow cuffs, red number on back, red outline badge on front of shirt. Does any firm do that one?

Toffs, I’m not sure if the club gets money back from this or not www.toffs.com/albion-rovers-1961-1964-retro-football-shirt
