Hello all, As discussed at the last Supporters' Trust Meeting, Alan Russell from Supporters Direct Scotland, has been invited to speak this coming Tuesday, 27th April, 7.30 pm - (Teams link to follow). This is to give a presentation on the role of SDS, supporters trusts in general, and potential developments for the ARST. www.supporters-direct.scot/ This will take the form of a short presentation followed by a brief Q&A, with Alan on the role of trusts in Scotland. Just to add, that this is not an "official" trust meeting, but an action from the last meeting, on a previously agreed date. I wholly understand that this may not be of interest to all, and seen as a distraction by many. However, with the recent improvements on the park, and upturn of fortunes, this may be a perfect opportunity to reset and consider the role of the trust at ARFC. David

Agree with Jaydee, and it is always good to have all ages and interests considered for any decisions or events. For example, years back we had fans playing in a 5's tournament through the Pie and Bovril site: my body creaks at the thought now - young man's game.
Jokes aside, (although again, I am an ordinary member) new members and fans bring skills, and help generate ideas that as a whole group, should be considered, agreed /disagreed with.

Yes it went well with a number of issues raised for further action: - Brian Reid - gave an update to the group on the team, took open questions, and shared his thoughts for the coming season.
- Supporters Direct representative Alan Russell discussed models of fans ownership / involvement and has been invited back, to discuss this with the trust in more depth, in the near future.
- Open discussion on various topics - including a call for volunteers required for the club shop, Community Trust projects, season tickets, the programme
- Introduction from a member of the Brigada supporters group - with an offer of help with club projects, in close season to maintain the stadium, and also efforts to increase fan numbers.
- Fans asking board members about the status of a resolution passed at the AGM regarding exploring a share issue.
I was along as an ordinary member for my £10 paid, and surprised not more people do. Where else can fans ask the manager and board members direct questions on the running of the club?
Big thanks is due to the Trust for putting this meeting on, and Brian taking time out to speak to the group.
