Absolute disgrace, no place in football or anywhere else for this behaviour, hope stenny sack him.

Just watched David's video. Some people really need to f***ing grow up especially during this pandemic where mental health is a serious issue. Will miss David as he made a big difference to the team when he played. Best of luck to him if he decides to play on or chuck it. Will the Stenny player be punished, probably not but if common sense prevails he should have the book thrown at him.

Absolutely heartbreaking.
Well done David for speaking out. Every media outlet has this story today. Time for the Scottish football authorities to start taking this seriously. The referees should briefed to take these instances seriously and act. Before it's too late for someone. Very best wishes to David Cox. Would've been great to have him for another season at least in front of the rovers fans. Let's make sure we let him know on Saturday how we feel. Time for the club and players to visually show him support.

Feel for david as any offender making light of such sensitive issue as mental health and all forms of racism and bigotry need to be outed in society. Very brave thing to do really and we do wish David well and when and if the time is right he may return to the fold. Not interested in the referree's stance as David has articulated very bravely his position and thoughts which is perfectly understandable. Another scurge in society we can do without. Not just our club and as fans we all need to stand up and be counted.
Be fantastic if he came along on saturday to let us all show our support.

Heartbreaking. Hope the guilty guy gets what he deserves but as said elsewhere won't be hopeful. Whatever he decides all the best. Would like to see more of him but if you can't enjoy it can understand his stance. Up to stenny who must have heard it to come clean if the ref "never" heard anything and throw the book at him.

No mention that I could see in the Record today despite the front page and several others being dedicated to anti racism and suggesting players are at risk of suicide.

There has rightly been emphasis on racism in society that affects football players , equally so the subject of Mental Health abuse to an individual needs to addressed. The fact that a fellow professional has been the source of this abuse towards another player is totally unforgiveable and all in authority need to act fast to set an appropriate example. Too often these events are swept under the carpet and quickly forgotten about - David was brave to bring this to light and we ALL need to be 100% behind him and, like racism in football, stop this abuse and work for a better understanding in society. Hope David will be in attendance on Saturday to enable us to show our solidarity with him.

Looks like Stenny are indulging in a bit of 'whatabouttery' and saying 'inappropriate' comments were coming from both benches.
He is on 'leave' of absence' which I think is correct as you have to investigate what are very serious allegations.
Do find the comments from one or two of the fans from the Glasgow teams a tad ironic.
Apparently they don't like inappopriate things said at football matches ?

Tiffoney has issued a statement via his lawyer in which he strenuously denies all allegations made against him...

Good to see that BBC Scotland covered this and included an interview.
I see that Tiffoney who vehemently denies the comments being made is a convicted criminal and was placed on the sex offenders register in 2013.
