The Reserves played their first game since December against Lesmahagow Juniors at Craighead Park last night, winning comfortably against their West of Scotland League opponents with goals from Julien Kouame, Daniel Moran, Sam Greenwood and Kieran Dolan in a match which finished 4-2 to a Rovers team comprised of signed players and three trialists.
There were impressive performances all over the park, both central defenders were comfortable on the ball and won the majority of their battles. Paul Fee looked to be nearing his best again after a frustrating season for the captain alongside A Trialist who also performed very well.
Both wide players Fernando and Julian caused problems throughout the match with their pace and trickery allowing them to get crosses into the box.
And Kieran Dolan was a handful for the Gow’s defence and could have added to the goal he got.
A good workout and more games have already been lined up for later this month and next 👍🏼
